Wenn jemand einen Acker Oder Weinberg beschadiget, daß er sein Vieh lasset Schaden tun in eines andern Acker, der soil von dem Besten auf seinem Acker und Weinberge wiedererstatten.

Si fuere hallado con el hurto en la mano, sea buey ó asno ú oveja vivos, pagará el duplo.

If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.

If the stolen property is found in his hand alive, whether it is ox, donkey, or sheep, he shall pay double.
