Éxodo 22

Si prestares dinero al necesitado de mi pueblo, que mora contigo, no le has de apremiar como un inspector, ni oprimirle con usuras.

Si dieres á mi pueblo dinero emprestado, al pobre que está contigo, no te portarás con él como logrero, ni le impondrás usura.

If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

“If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor. You shall not charge him interest.
