Éxodo 22

If, silver, thou wilt lend unto my people—unto the humbled one by thee, thou shalt not be to him like one that lendeth on interest,—thou shalt not lay upon him interest.

Si dieres á mi pueblo dinero emprestado, al pobre que está contigo, no te portarás con él como logrero, ni le impondrás usura.

If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

“If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor. You shall not charge him interest.
