Éxodo 22

Si tu prêtes de l'argent à quelqu'un de mon peuple, au pauvre qui est avec toi, n'agis pas à son égard comme celui qui fait métier de prêter ; vous ne lui imposerez point d'intérêt.

Si dieres á mi pueblo dinero emprestado, al pobre que está contigo, no te portarás con él como logrero, ni le impondrás usura.

If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

“If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor. You shall not charge him interest.
