Lorsque quelqu'un aura emprunté de son prochain †une bête de somme, si elle se fracture ou périt n'étant pas accompagnée de son maître, c'est le cas de dédommager.

Pero si alguno hubiere tomado prestada bestia de su prójimo, y fuere estropeada ó muerta, ausente su dueño, deberá pagarla.

And if a man borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.

“If a man borrows anything of his neighbor’s, and it is injured, or dies, its owner not being with it, he shall surely make restitution.
