DIES sind die Namen der Söhne Israels, die nach Ägypten kamen - mit Jakob waren sie gekommen, ein jeder mit seiner Familie -: (a) 1Mo 46:8

ESTOS son los nombres de los hijos de Israel, que entraron en Egipto con Jacob; cada uno entró con su familia.

und machten ihnen das Leben sauer mit harter Arbeit in Lehm und Ziegeln und mit allerlei Arbeit auf dem Felde, lauter Arbeiten, zu denen man sie mit Gewalt anhielt.

Aber die Hebammen waren gottesfürchtig und taten nicht, wie der König von Ägypten ihnen geboten hatte, sondern liessen die Knäblein am Leben.

Da rief der König von Ägypten die Hebammen und sprach zu ihnen: Warum habt ihr das getan und die Knäblein am Leben gelassen?

Y el rey de Egipto hizo llamar á las parteras, y díjoles: Por qué habéis hecho esto, que habéis reservado la vida á los niños?

And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?

Die Hebammen antworteten dem Pharao: Die hebräischen Frauen sind nicht wie die ägyptischen, sondern naturwüchsiger; ehe die Hebamme zu ihnen kommt, haben sie schon geboren.

Y las parteras respondieron á Faraón: Porque las mujeres Hebreas no son como las Egipcias: porque son robustas, y paren antes que la partera venga á ellas.

And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them.

The midwives said to Pharaoh, “Because the Hebrew women aren’t like the Egyptian women; for they are vigorous and give birth before the midwife comes to them.”

Gott aber liess es den Hebammen gut ergehen, und das Volk mehrte sich und wurde sehr zahlreich.

Da gebot der Pharao allen seinen Leuten: Alle Knaben, die den Hebräern geboren werden, werft in den Nil, alle Mädchen aber lasst am Leben.

Entonces Faraón mandó á todo su pueblo, diciendo: Echad en el río todo hijo que naciere, y á toda hija reservad la vida.

And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.
