Dies sind die Namen der Kinder Israels, die mit Jakob nach Agypten kamen; ein jeglicher kam mit seinem Hause hinein:

ESTOS son los nombres de los hijos de Israel, que entraron en Egipto con Jacob; cada uno entró con su familia.

Und aller Seelen, die aus den Lenden Jakobs kommen waren, der waren siebenzig. Joseph aber war zuvor in Agypten.

Und man setzte Fronvogte uber sie, die sie mit schweren Diensten drucken sollten; denn man bauete dem Pharao die Stadte Pithon und Raemses zu Schatzhausern.

Und die Agypter zwangen die Kinder Israel zu Dienst mit Unbarmherzigkeit

und machten ihnen ihr Leben sauer mit schwerer Arbeit im Ton und Ziegeln und mit allerlei Fronen auf dem Felde und mit allerlei Arbeit, die sie ihnen auflegten mit Unbarmherzigkeit.

Y amargaron su vida con dura servidumbre, en hacer barro y ladrillo, y en toda labor del campo, y en todo su servicio, al cual los obligaban con rigorismo.

And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.

Wenn ihr den ebraischen Weibern helfet und auf dem Stuhl sehet, daß es ein Sohn ist, so totet ihn; ist's aber eine Tochter, so lasset sie leben.

Cuando parteareis á las Hebreas, y mirareis los asientos, si fuere hijo, matadlo; y si fuere hija, entonces viva.

And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.

Aber die Wehmutter furchteten Gott und taten nicht, wie der Konig in Agypten zu ihnen gesagt hatte, sondern lieften die Kinder leben.

Mas las parteras temieron á Dios, y no hicieron como les mandó el rey de Egipto, sino que reservaban la vida á los niños.

Da rief der Konig in Agypten den Wehmuttern und sprach zu ihnen: Warum tut ihr das, daß ihr die Kinder leben lasset?

Y el rey de Egipto hizo llamar á las parteras, y díjoles: Por qué habéis hecho esto, que habéis reservado la vida á los niños?

And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?

Die Wehmutter antworteten Pharao: Die ebraischen Weiber sind nicht wie die agyptischen, denn sie sind harte Weiber; ehe die Wehmutter zu ihnen kommt, haben sie geboren.

Y las parteras respondieron á Faraón: Porque las mujeres Hebreas no son como las Egipcias: porque son robustas, y paren antes que la partera venga á ellas.

And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them.

The midwives said to Pharaoh, “Because the Hebrew women aren’t like the Egyptian women; for they are vigorous and give birth before the midwife comes to them.”

Darum tat Gott den Wehmuttern Gutes. Und das Volk mehrete sich und ward sehr viel.

Y Dios hizo bien á las parteras: y el pueblo se multiplicó, y se corroboraron en gran manera.

Da gebot Pharao all seinem Volk und sprach: Alle Sohne, die geboren werden, werfet ins Wasser und alle Tochter lasset leben.

Entonces Faraón mandó á todo su pueblo, diciendo: Echad en el río todo hijo que naciere, y á toda hija reservad la vida.

And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.
