Éxodo 18

Höre nun auf meine Stimme, ich will dir raten, und Gott wird mit dir sein: Sei du für das Volk vor Gott, und bringe du die Sachen zu Gott;

Oye ahora mi voz, yo te aconsejaré, y Dios será contigo. Está tú por el pueblo delante de Dios, y somete tú los negocios á Dios.

Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God:

Listen now to my voice. I will give you counsel, and God be with you. You represent the people before God, and bring the causes to God.
