Und die ganze Gemeinde der Söhne Israels brach auf von der Wüste Sin auf ihre Wanderzüge nach dem Munde Jehovahs und sie lagerten in Rephidim, und das Volk hatte kein Wasser zu trinken.

Y TODA la congregación de los hijos de Israel partió del desierto de Sin, por sus jornadas, al mandamiento de Jehová, y asentaron el campo en Rephidim: y no había agua para que el pueblo bebiese.

And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.

All the congregation of the children of Israel traveled from the wilderness of Sin, starting according to the LORD’s commandment, and encamped in Rephidim; but there was no water for the people to drink.

Und das Volk haderte mit Mose und sie sprachen: Gib uns Wasser, daß wir trinken! Und Mose sprach zu ihnen: Was hadert ihr mit mir? Was versuchet ihr Jehovah?

Y altercó el pueblo con Moisés, y dijeron: Danos agua que bebamos. Y Moisés les dijo: ¿Por qué altercáis conmigo? ¿por qué tentáis á Jehová?

Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD?

Therefore the people quarreled with Moses, and said, “Give us water to drink.” Moses said to them, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you test the LORD?”

Und das Volk dürstete daselbst nach Wasser; und das Volk murrte wider Mose und sprach: Warum hast du uns aus Ägypten heraufgebracht, daß du mich und meine Söhne und meine Viehherden vor Durst sterben lässest.

Así que el pueblo tuvo allí sed de agua, y murmuró contra Moisés, y dijo: ¿Por qué nos hiciste subir de Egipto, para matarnos de sed á nosotros, y á nuestros hijos, y á nuestros ganados?

And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?

The people were thirsty for water there; so the people murmured against Moses, and said, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us, our children, and our livestock with thirst?”

Und Mose schrie zu Jehovah und sprach: Was soll ich mit diesem Volke tun: Noch ein wenig und sie steinigen mich.

Entonces clamó Moisés á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Qué haré con este pueblo? de aquí á un poco me apedrearán.

And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.

Moses cried to the LORD, saying, “What shall I do with these people? They are almost ready to stone me.”

Und Jehovah sprach zu Mose: Zieh hin vor dem Volke und nimm mit dir von den Ältesten Israels; und deinen Stab, mit dem du den Strom geschlagen, nimm in deine Hand und geh hin.

Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Pasa delante del pueblo, y toma contigo de los ancianos de Israel; y toma también en tu mano tu vara, con que heriste el río, y ve:

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.

The LORD said to Moses, “Walk on before the people, and take the elders of Israel with you, and take the rod in your hand with which you struck the Nile, and go.

Siehe, Ich stehe dort vor dir auf dem Felsen in Horeb. Und du sollst den Felsen schlagen und Wasser kommt aus ihm heraus, auf daß das Volk trinke; und Mose tat also vor den Augen der Ältesten Israels.

He aquí que yo estoy delante de ti allí sobre la peña en Horeb; y herirás la peña, y saldrán de ella aguas, y beberá el pueblo. Y Moisés lo hizo así en presencia de los ancianos de Israel.

Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb. You shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

Und er nannte den Namen des Ortes Massah und Meribah, darum, daß die Söhne Israels haderten und Jehovah verfluchten, indem sie sagten: Ist Jehovah in unserer Mitte oder nicht?

Y llamó el nombre de aquel lugar Massah y Meribah, por la rencilla de los hijos de Israel, y porque tentaron á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Está, pues, Jehová entre nosotros, ó no?

And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?

He called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because the children of Israel quarreled, and because they tested the LORD, saying, “Is the LORD among us, or not?”

Und es kam Amalek und stritt mit Israel in Rephidim.

Y vino Amalec, y peleó con Israel en Rephidim.

Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

Then Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

Und Mose sprach zu Jehoschua: Wähl uns Männer aus und gehe aus und streite wider Amalek. Ich werde mich morgen auf des Hügels Gipfel stellen und der Stab Gottes in meiner Hand.

Y dijo Moisés á Josué: Escógenos varones, y sal, pelea con Amalec: mañana yo estaré sobre la cumbre del collado, y la vara de Dios en mi mano.

And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.

Moses said to Joshua, “Choose men for us, and go out to fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with God’s rod in my hand.”

Und Jehoschua tat, wie ihm Mose gesagt hatte, daß er wider Amalek streiten sollte. Und Mose, Aharon und Chur stiegen auf den Gipfel des Hügels.

E hizo Josué como le dijo Moisés, peleando con Amalec; y Moisés y Aarón y Hur subieron á la cumbre del collado.

So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

Und es geschah, so wie Mose seine Hand emporhob, da hatte Israel die Übermacht und wie er seine Hand niedersinken ließ, hatte Amalek die Übermacht.

Y sucedía que cuando alzaba Moisés su mano, Israel prevalecía; mas cuando él bajaba su mano, prevalecía Amalec.

And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.

Und Moses Hände wurden schwer; und sie nahmen einen Stein und legten denselben unter ihn und er setzte sich darauf, und Aharon und Chur stützten seine Hände, der eine hier, der andere dort, und so geschah es, daß seine Hände festblieben, bis die Sonne unterging.

Y las manos de Moisés estaban pesadas; por lo que tomaron una piedra, y pusiéronla debajo de él, y se sentó sobre ella: y Aarón y Hur sustentaban sus manos, el uno de una parte y el otro de otra; así hubo en sus manos firmeza hasta que se puso el sol.

But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

Und Jehoschua schwächte den Amalek und sein Volk mit der Schärfe des Schwertes.

Y Josué deshizo á Amalec y á su pueblo á filo de espada.

And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

Und Jehovah sprach zu Mose: Schreib dies zum Andenken in das Buch und bring es vor die Ohren Jehoschuas, daß Ich das Andenken an Amalek gänzlich auswischen will unter dem Himmel.

Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Escribe esto para memoria en un libro, y di á Josué que del todo tengo de raer la memoria de Amalec de debajo del cielo.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

The LORD said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky.”

Und Mose baute einen Altar und nannte seinen Namen Jehovah Nissi.

Y Moisés edificó un altar, y llamó su nombre Jehová-nissi;

And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi:

Moses built an altar, and called its name “The LORD our Banner”.

Und sprach: Weil die Hand ist wider den Thron Jahs, hat Jehovah Krieg wider Amalek von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht.

Y dijo: Por cuanto la mano sobre el trono de Jehová, Jehová tendrá guerra con Amalec de generación en generación.

For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

He said, “The LORD has sworn: ‘The LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.’”
