Ainsi chacun en recueillait tous les matins autant qu’il lui en fallait pour se nourrir, et lorsque la chaleur du soleil était venue, elle se fondait.

Y recogíanlo cada mañana, cada uno según lo que había de comer: y luego que el sol calentaba, derretíase.

And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.
