"Dis aux enfants d'Israël de remonter et de camper en face de Pi-Hahiroth, entre Migdol et la mer; devant Baal-Cefôn, à l'opposite, vous camperez au bord de la mer.
Habla á los hijos de Israel que den la vuelta, y asienten su campo delante de Pihahiroth, entre Migdol y la mar hacia Baalzephón: delante de él asentaréis el campo, junto á la mar.
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baal-zephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.
“Speak to the children of Israel, that they turn back and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, before Baal Zephon. You shall encamp opposite it by the sea.
Pharaon se dira que les enfants d'Israël sont égarés dans ce pays; que le désert les emprisonne.
Porque Faraón dirá de los hijos de Israel: Encerrados están en la tierra, el desierto los ha encerrado.
For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

Et je raffermirai le cœur de Pharaon et il les poursuivra; puis j'accablerai de ma puissance Pharaon avec toute son armée et les Égyptiens apprendront que je suis l'Éternel." Ils obéirent.
Y yo endureceré el corazón de Faraón para que los siga; y seré glorificado en Faraón y en todo su ejército; y sabrán los Egipcios que yo soy Jehová. Y ellos lo hicieron así.
And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

On rapporta au roi d'Égypte que le peuple s'enfuyait. Alors les dispositions de Pharaon et de ses serviteurs changèrent à l'égard de ce peuple et ils dirent: "Qu'avons-nous fait là, d'affranchir les Israélites de notre sujétion!"
Y fué dado aviso al rey de Egipto cómo el pueblo se huía: y el corazón de Faraón y de sus siervos se volvió contra el pueblo, y dijeron: ¿Cómo hemos hecho esto de haber dejado ir á Israel, para que no nos sirva?
And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

Il fit atteler son char, emmena avec lui son peuple,
Y unció su carro, y tomó consigo su pueblo;

prit six cents chars d'élite et tous les chariots d'Égypte, tous couverts de guerriers.

L'Éternel fortifia le cœur de Pharaon, roi d'Égypte, qui se mit à la poursuite des enfants d'Israël. Cependant les Israélites s'avançaient triomphants.

Comme Pharaon approchait, les enfants d'Israël levèrent les yeux et voici que l'Égyptien était à leur poursuite; remplis d'effroi, les Israélites jetèrent des cris vers l'Éternel.

And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?
They said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you treated us this way, to bring us out of Egypt?
N'est-ce pas ainsi que nous te parlions en Égypte, disant: ‘Laisse-nous servir les Égyptiens?’ De fait, mieux valait pour nous être esclaves des Égyptiens, que de périr dans le désert."
¿No es esto lo que te hablamos en Egipto, diciendo: Déjanos servir á los Egipcios? Que mejor nos fuera servir á los Egipcios, que morir nosotros en el desierto.
Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.
Isn’t this the word that we spoke to you in Egypt, saying, ‘Leave us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”
Moïse répondit au peuple: "Soyez sans crainte! Attendez, et vous serez témoins de l'assistance que l'Éternel vous procurera en ce jour! Certes, si vous avez vu les Égyptiens aujourd'hui, vous ne les reverrez plus jamais.
Y Moisés dijo al pueblo: No temáis; estáos quedos, y ved la salud de Jehová, que él hará hoy con vosotros; porque los Egipcios que hoy habéis visto, nunca más para siempre los veréis.
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
Moses said to the people, “Don’t be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today; for you will never again see the Egyptians whom you have seen today.
L'Éternel combattra pour vous; et vous, tenez-vous tranquilles!"
Jehová peleará por vosotros, y vosotros estaréis quedos.

L'Éternel dit à Moïse: "Pourquoi m'implores-tu? Ordonne aux enfants d'Israël de se mettre en marche.
Entonces Jehová dijo á Moisés: ¿Por qué clamas á mí? di á los hijos de Israel que marchen:
And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:
The LORD said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Speak to the children of Israel, that they go forward.
Et toi, lève ta verge, dirige ta main vers la mer et divise la; et les enfants d'Israël entreront au milieu de la mer à pied sec."
Y tú alza tu vara, y extiende tu mano sobre la mar, y divídela; y entren los hijos de Israel por medio de la mar en seco.
But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

Les Égyptiens reconnaîtront que je suis l'Éternel, quand j'accablerai Pharaon, ses chars et ses cavaliers."
Y sabrán los Egipcios que yo soy Jehová, cuando me glorificaré en Faraón, en sus carros, y en su gente de á caballo.
And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

Elle passa ainsi entre le camp égyptien et celui des Israélites: pour les uns il y eut nuée et ténèbres, pour les autres la nuit fut éclairée; et, de toute la nuit, les uns n'approchèrent point des autres.

et il détacha les roues de ses chars, les faisant ainsi avancer pesamment. Alors l'Égyptien s'écria: "Fuyons devant Israël, car l'Éternel combat pour eux contre l'Égypte!"
