Ist dies nicht das Wort, das wir in Ägypten zu dir geredet haben, indem wir sprachen: Lass ab von uns, dass wir den Ägyptern dienen? Denn besser wäre es uns, den Ägyptern zu dienen, als in der Wüste zu sterben.
¿No es esto lo que te hablamos en Egipto, diciendo: Déjanos servir á los Egipcios? Que mejor nos fuera servir á los Egipcios, que morir nosotros en el desierto.
Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.
Isn’t this the word that we spoke to you in Egypt, saying, ‘Leave us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”
