Und Moses nahm Josephs Gebeine mit sich. Denn dieser hatte die Israeliten eidlich beschworen: "Bedenkt euch einstens Gott, dann nehmt meine Gebeine mit euch!"

Tomó también consigo Moisés los huesos de José, el cual había juramentado á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Dios ciertamente os visitará, y haréis subir mis huesos de aquí con vosotros.

And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.
