17Or, lorsque le Pharaon eut congédié le peuple, Dieu ne montra pas aux fils d'Israël la route qui passe par la terre des Philistins, quoique ce fût la plus courte. Car, dit le Seigneur, prenons garde que le peuple ne se repente, en prévoyant des combats, et qu'il ne retourne en Égypte.
