17Or, quand Pharaon eut laissé aller le peuple, Dieu ne les conduisit pas par le chemin de la terre des Philistins, parce qu'elle était trop proche ; car Dieu dit : Il ne faut pas qu'en présence d'une guerre le peuple se repente et s'en retourne en Egypte.
