"Para ustedes este mes será el comienzo de meses, el primer mes del año para ustedes.

Digan a la asamblea de Israel: 'En el décimo día de este mes deben coger una oveja o un cabro jóven para ellos, cada familia haciéndo esto, una oveja para cada hogar.
Hablad á toda la congregación de Israel, diciendo: En el diez de aqueste mes tómese cada uno un cordero por las familias de los padres, un cordero por familia:
Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

Si el hogar es muy pequeño para un cordero, el hombre y su vecino deben coger suficiente carne de cordero o cabrito que sea suficiente para el número de personas. Debe ser suficiente para que todos coman, así que deben coger suficiente carne para alimentarlos a todos.
Mas si la familia fuere pequeña que no baste á comer el cordero, entonces tomará á su vecino inmediato á su casa, y según el número de las personas, cada uno conforme á su comer, echaréis la cuenta sobre el cordero.
And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

Tus corderos o cabritos debe estar sin defecto, un macho de un año. Ustedes pueden coger una oveja o cabros.

Lo deben mantener hasta el día catorce de ese mes. Después toda la asamblea de Israel debe matar estos animales en el crepúsculo.
Y habéis de guardarlo hasta el día catorce de este mes; y lo inmolará toda la congregación del pueblo de Israel entre las dos tardes.

Deben coger alguna de la sangre y ponerla en las jambas de puertas y los marcos de las puertas de las casas donde comerán la carne.
Y tomarán de la sangre, y pondrán en los dos postes y en el dintel de las casas en que lo han de comer.
And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

Deben comer la carne esa noche, luego de asarla sobre el fuego. Cómanla con pan hecho sin levadura, junto con hierbas amargas.

And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

No se la coman cruda o hervida en agua. En vez deben asarla sobre el fuego con su cabeza, las patas, y sus partes internas.
Ninguna cosa comeréis de él cruda, ni cocida en agua, sino asada al fuego; su cabeza con sus pies y sus intestinos.
Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.

No deben dejar que quede nada de él en la mañana. Deben quemar cualquier cosa que sobre en la mañana.

Así es como se debe comer: con tu correa amarrada, tus zapatos puestos en tus pies, tu callado en tu mano. Debes comerla rápido. Eso es la Pascua del SEÑOR.
Y así habéis de comerlo: ceñidos vuestros lomos, vuestros zapatos en vuestros pies, y vuestro bordón en vuestra mano; y lo comeréis apresuradamente: es la Pascua de Jehová.

El SEÑOR dice así: Iré a traves de la tierra de Egipto en la noche y atacaré a todo primogénito de hombre o animal en la tierra de Egipto. Traeré castigo a todos los dioses de Egipto. Yo soy el SEÑOR.
Pues yo pasaré aquella noche por la tierra de Egipto, y heriré á todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, así en los hombres como en las bestias: y haré juicios en todos los dioses de Egipto. Yo JEHOVÁ.
For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

La sangre será señal en sus casas para Mi venida a ustedes. Cuando Yo vea la sangre, Yo pasaré sobre ustedes cuando ataque la tierra de Egipto. Esta plaga no vendrá a ustedes y no los destruirá.
Y la sangre os será por señal en las casas donde vosotros estéis; y veré la sangre, y pasaré de vosotros, y no habrá en vosotros plaga de mortandad, cuando heriré la tierra de Egipto.
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Este día se convertirá en un día de recordatorio para ustedes, y que deben observar como un festival al SEÑOR. Siempre sera una ley para ustedes, a lo largo de las generaciones de su pueblo deben observar este día.
Y este día os ha de ser en memoria, y habéis de celebrarlo como solemne á Jehová durante vuestras generaciones: por estatuto perpetuo lo celebraréis.
And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

Comerán el pan sin levadura durante siete días. En el primer día removerán la levadura de sus casas. Cualquiera que coma levadura el pan desde el primer día hasta el séptimo día, esa persona será cortada de Israel.
Siete días comeréis panes sin levadura; y así el primer día haréis que no haya levadura en vuestras casas: porque cualquiera que comiere leudado desde el primer día hasta el séptimo, aquella alma será cortada de Israel.
Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

En el primer día habrá una asamblea apartada para Mí, y en el séptimo día habrá una reunión. Ningún trabajo se hará en estos días, excepto cocinar para que todos coman. Ese debe ser el único trabajo hagan ustedes.
El primer día habrá santa convocación, y asimismo en el séptimo día tendréis una santa convocación: ninguna obra se hará en ellos, excepto solamente que aderecéis lo que cada cual hubiere de comer.

Deben observar este Festival del pan sin levadura porque es en este día en que habré traído a su pueblo, grupo armado por grupo armado, fuera de la tierra de Egipto. Así que deben observar este día a traves de las generaciones. Esta siempre será una ley para ustedes.

Durante estos siete días, no se encontrará levadura en sus casas. Cualquiera que coma pan hecho con levadura debe ser cortado de la comunidad de Israel, sea un extranjero o alguien nacido en tu tierra.
Por siete días no se hallará levadura en vuestras casas, porque cualquiera que comiere leudado, así extranjero como natural del país, aquella alma será cortada de la congregación de Israel.

Luego Moisés convocó a los ancianos de Israel y les dijo: "Vayan y seleccionen ovejas o cabritos que sean suficientes para alimentar sus familias y maten al cordero de la Pascua.
Y Moisés convocó á todos los ancianos de Israel, y díjoles: Sacad, y tomaos corderos por vuestras familias, y sacrificad la pascua.
Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.

Despues cojan un manojo de hisopo y mójenlo en la sangre que va a estar en la cuenca. Apliquen la sangre que está en la vasija en la parte alta del marco de la puerta y los dos postes de las puertas. Ninguno de ustedes debe salir por la puerta hasta que llegue la mañana.
Y tomad un manojo de hisopo, y mojadle en la sangre que estará en una jofaina, y untad el dintel y los dos postes con la sangre que estará en la jofaina; y ninguno de vosotros salga de las puertas de su casa hasta la mañana.
And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

Porque el SEÑOR pasará y atacará los Egipcios. Cuando Él vea la sangre en el marco de la puerta y en los postes de las puertas, Él pasará por sus puerta y no permitirá al destructor que entre en sus casas a atacarlos.
Porque Jehová pasará hiriendo á los Egipcios; y como verá la sangre en el dintel y en los dos postes, pasará Jehová aquella puerta, y no dejará entrar al heridor en vuestras casas para herir.
For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

Deben observar este evento. Está siempre será una ley para ustedes y sus descendientes.
Y guardaréis esto por estatuto para vosotros y para vuestros hijos para siempre.
And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.

Cuando entren a la tierra que el SEÑOR les dará, así como les ha prometido, deben observar este acto de adoración.
Y será, cuando habréis entrado en la tierra que Jehová os dará, como tiene hablado, que guardaréis este rito.
And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.

Cuando sus hijos les pregunten: '¿Qué significa este acto de adoración?'
Y cuando os dijeren vuestros hijos: ¿Qué rito es este vuestro?
And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?
It will happen, when your children ask you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’
entonces ustedes tienen que decir: 'Es el sacrificio de la Pascua del SEÑOR, porque el SEÑOR pasó sobre las casas de los Israelitas en Egipto cuando atacó a los Egipcios. Él liberó a los Israelitas'". Entonces la gente se postró y adoró al SEÑOR.
Vosotros responderéis: Es la víctima de la Pascua de Jehová, el cual pasó las casas de los hijos de Israel en Egipto, cuando hirió á los Egipcios, y libró nuestras casas. Entonces el pueblo se inclinó y adoró.
That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD’s passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

Los Israelitas fueron y hicieron exactamente como el SEÑOR le había mandado a Moisés y Aarón.
Y los hijos de Israel se fueron, é hicieron puntualmente así; como Jehová había mandado á Moisés y á Aarón.
And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

Pasó a la media noche que el SEÑOR atacó a todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, desde el primogénito de Faraón, quien se sentaba en su trono, hasta el primogénito de los que estaban en la cárcel y a todo primogénito del ganado.
Y aconteció que á la medianoche Jehová hirió á todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, desde el primogénito de Faraón que se sentaba sobre su trono, hasta el primogénito del cautivo que estaba en la cárcel, y todo primogénito de los animales.
And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

Los Egipcios estaban en un gran apuro para sacarlos de la tierra, porque decían: "Todos somos muertos."

Entonces el pueblo cogió la masa sin añadirle ninguna levadura. Sus platos de amasar ya estaban amarrados, en sus ropas y en sus hombros.

Ahora el pueblo de Israel hiso lo que dijo Moisés. Y pidieron a los Egipcios objetos de plata, objetos de oro, y ropa.
E hicieron los hijos de Israel conforme al mandamiento de Moisés, demandando á los Egipcios vasos de plata, y vasos de oro, y vestidos.

El SEÑOR hizo que los Egipcios se sintieran ansiosos de complacer a los Israelitas. Así que Egipcios les dieron todo lo que ellos pidieron. De esta manera, los Israelitas saquearon a los Egipcios.
Y Jehová dió gracia al pueblo delante de los Egipcios, y prestáronles; y ellos despojaron á los Egipcios.

Los Iraelitas viajaron de Ramsés hasta Sucot. Ellos eran unos 600, 000 hombres a pie, en adición de las mujeres y los niños.

Una multitud mixta que no era de Israelitas también fue con ellos, junto con sus rebaños y manadas, una gran cantidad de ganado. Ellos hornearon pan sin levadura con la masa que trajeron de Egipto.

Los Israelitas habían vivido en Egipto por 430 años.

Al final de los 430 años, ese mismo día, todos los groupos armados del SEÑOR salieron de la tierra de Egipto.
Y pasados cuatrocientos treinta años, en el mismo día salieron todos los ejércitos de Jehová de la tierra de Egipto.
And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

Esta fue la noche de permanecer despiertos, para el SEÑOR sacarlos de la tierra de Egipto. Esta fue la noche del SEÑOR para ser celebrada por todos los Israelitas a través de las generaciones del pueblo.
Es noche de guardar á Jehová, por haberlos sacado en ella de la tierra de Egipto. Esta noche deben guardar á Jehová todos los hijos de Israel en sus generaciones.
It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.

El SEÑOR dijo a Moisés y a Aarón: "Esta es la ordenanza de la Pascua: ningún extranjero puede participar de la comida.
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés y á Aarón: Esta es la ordenanza de la Pascua: Ningún extraño comerá de ella:
And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:

Sin embargo, todo esclavo de Israelitas, comprado con dinero, podrá comerlo depués de que lo hayan circuncidado.
Mas todo siervo humano comprado por dinero, comerá de ella después que lo hubieres circuncidado.
But every man’s servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.

Los extranjeros y los jornaleros no pueden comer de ningun alimento.

La comida tiene ser comida en una casa. No puede sacar la carne fuera de la casa, y no puede partir ninguno de los huesos.

In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.

Si un extranjero reside con ustedes y quiere celebrar la Pascua para el SEÑOR, todos los familiares varones deben ser circuncidados. Entonces él puede venir y observarla. Vendrá a ser como la gente nacida en la tierra. Sin embargo, ninguna persona incircuncisa puede comer nada de la comida.
Mas si algún extranjero peregrinare contigo, y quisiere hacer la pascua á Jehová, séale circuncidado todo varón, y entonces se llegará á hacerla, y será como el natural de la tierra; pero ningún incircunciso comerá de ella.
And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

Esta misma ley se aplicará tanto para nativos como para extranjeros que vivan entre ustedes".

Así que todos los Israelitas hicieron exactamente como el SEÑOR había encomendado a Moisés y Aarón.
Así lo hicieron todos los hijos de Israel; como mandó Jehová á Moisés y á Aarón, así lo hicieron.

Y aquel mismo dia, el SEÑOR sacó a los Israelitas de la tierra de Egipto por sus ejércitos.

And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
