El Señor le dijo a Moisés: “Ve a ver al Faraón, porque fui yo quien le dio a él y a sus oficiales una actitud obstinada para que yo pudiera hacer mis milagros ante ellos.
Y JEHOVÁ dijo á Moisés: Entra á Faraón; porque yo he agravado su corazón, y el corazón de sus siervos, para dar entre ellos estas mis señales;
And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs before him:
The LORD said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, that I may show these my signs among them;
Esto es para que puedas contar a tus hijos y nietos cómo hice que los egipcios parecieran tontos haciendo estos milagros entre ellos, y para que sepas que yo soy el Señor”.
Y para que cuentes á tus hijos y á tus nietos las cosas que yo hice en Egipto, y mis señales que dí entre ellos; y para que sepáis que yo soy Jehová.
And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the LORD.
and that you may tell in the hearing of your son, and of your son’s son, what things I have done to Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that you may know that I am the LORD.”
Moisés y Aarón fueron a ver al Faraón y le dijeron: “Esto es lo que dice el Señor, el Dios de los hebreos: ‘¿Hasta cuándo te negarás a humillarte ante mí? Deja ir a mi pueblo, para que me adore.
Entonces vinieron Moisés y Aarón á Faraón, y le dijeron: Jehová, el Dios de los Hebreos, ha dicho así: ¿Hasta cuándo no querrás humillarte delante de mí? Deja ir á mi pueblo para que me sirvan.
And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.
Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and said to him, “This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me.
Sino dejas que mi pueblo se vaya, mañana enviaré una plaga de langostas a tu país.
Y si aun rehusas dejarlo ir, he aquí que yo traeré mañana langosta en tus términos,
Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast:
Or else, if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your country,
Habrá tantas que cubrirán el suelo para que nadie pueda verlas. Comerán los cultivos que haya dejado el granizo, así como todos los árboles que crezcan en tus campos.
La cual cubrirá la faz de la tierra, de modo que no pueda verse la tierra; y ella comerá lo que quedó salvo, lo que os ha quedado del granizo; comerá asimismo todo árbol que os produce fruto en el campo:
And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field:
and they shall cover the surface of the earth, so that one won’t be able to see the earth. They shall eat the residue of that which has escaped, which remains to you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which grows for you out of the field.
Entrarán en enjambres en tus casas y en las casas de todos tus funcionarios, de hecho en las casas de todos los egipcios. Esto es algo que ninguno de tus antepasados ha visto desde que llegaron a este país’”. Entonces Moisés y Aarón se volvieron y dejaron al Faraón.
Y llenarse han tus casas, y las casas de todos tus siervos, y las casas de todos los Egipcios, cual nunca vieron tus padres ni tus abuelos, desde que ellos fueron sobre la tierra hasta hoy. Y volvióse, y salió de con Faraón.
And they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers’ fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh.
Your houses shall be filled, and the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians, as neither your fathers nor your fathers’ fathers have seen, since the day that they were on the earth to this day.’” He turned, and went out from Pharaoh.
Los oficiales del Faraón se acercaron a él y le preguntaron: “¿Cuánto tiempo vas a dejar que este hombre nos cause problemas? Deja que esta gente se vaya para que puedan adorar al Señor su Dios. ¿No te das cuenta de que Egipto ha quedado destruido?”
Entonces los siervos de Faraón le dijeron: ¿Hasta cuándo nos ha de ser éste por lazo? Deja ir á estos hombres, para que sirvan á Jehová su Dios; ¿aun no sabes que Egipto está destruído?
And Pharaoh’s servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?
Pharaoh’s servants said to him, “How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may serve the LORD, their God. Don’t you yet know that Egypt is destroyed?”
Moisés y Aarón fueron traídos nuevamente ante el Faraón. “Vayan y adoren al Señor su Dios”, les dijo. “Pero ¿quién de ustedes irá?”
Y Moisés y Aarón volvieron á ser llamados á Faraón, el cual les dijo: Andad, servid á Jehová vuestro Dios. ¿Quién y quién son los que han de ir?
And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the LORD your God: but who are they that shall go?
Moses and Aaron were brought again to Pharaoh, and he said to them, “Go, serve the LORD your God; but who are those who will go?”
“Todos iremos”, respondió Moisés. “Jóvenes y viejos, hijos e hijas, y llevaremos nuestros rebaños y manadas con nosotros, porque vamos a celebrar una fiesta para el Señor”.
Y Moisés respondió: Hemos de ir con nuestros niños y con nuestros viejos, con nuestros hijos y con nuestras hijas: con nuestras ovejas y con nuestras vacas hemos de ir; porque tenemos solemnidad de Jehová.
And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD.

“¡El Señor realmente tendrá que estar con ustedes si dejo que sus hijos se vayan!” respondió el Faraón. “¡Claramente estás planeando algún tipo de truco maligno!
Y él les dijo: Así sea Jehová con vosotros como yo os dejaré ir á vosotros y á vuestros niños: mirad como el mal está delante de vuestro rostro.
And he said unto them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you.
He said to them, “The LORD be with you if I let you go with your little ones! See, evil is clearly before your faces.
¡Así que no! Sólo los hombres pueden ir y adorar al Señor, porque eso es lo que has estado pidiendo”. Entonces hizo que echaran a Moisés y a Aarón.
No será así: id ahora vosotros los varones, y servid á Jehová: pues esto es lo que vosotros demandasteis. Y echáronlos de delante de Faraón.
Not so: go now ye that are men, and serve the LORD; for that ye did desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence.

El Señor le dijo a Moisés, “Levanta tu mano sobre Egipto, para aparezcan las langostas y se coman todas las plantas del país, todo lo que haya dejado el granizo”.
Entonces Jehová dijo á Moisés: Extiende tu mano sobre la tierra de Egipto para langosta, á fin de que suba sobre el país de Egipto, y consuma todo lo que el granizo dejó.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.
The LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up on the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail has left.”
Moisés extendió su bastón sobre Egipto, y durante todo ese día y noche el Señor envió un viento del este que soplaba sobre la tierra. Cuando llegó la mañana, el viento del Este había traído las langostas.
Y extendió Moisés su vara sobre la tierra de Egipto, y Jehová trajo un viento oriental sobre el país todo aquel día y toda aquella noche; y á la mañana el viento oriental trajo la langosta:
And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.

Las langostas pululaban por toda la tierra y se asentaron en cada parte del país. Nunca había habido tal enjambre de langostas, y no lo habrá nunca más.
Y subió la langosta sobre toda la tierra de Egipto, y asentóse en todos los términos de Egipto, en gran manera grave: antes de ella no hubo langosta semejante, ni después de ella vendrá otra tal;
And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.

Cubrieron el suelo hasta que se vio negro, y se comieron todas las plantas de los campos y todos los frutos de los árboles que había dejado el granizo. No quedó ni una sola hoja verde en ningún árbol o planta en ningún lugar de Egipto.
Y cubrió la faz de todo el país, y oscurecióse la tierra; y consumió toda la hierba de la tierra, y todo el fruto de los árboles que había dejado el granizo; que no quedó cosa verde en árboles ni en hierba del campo, por toda la tierra de Egipto.
For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.

El Faraón llamó urgentemente a Moisés y a Aarón y dijo: “He pecado contra el Señor tu Dios y contra ti.
Entonces Faraón hizo llamar apriesa á Moisés y á Aarón, y dijo: He pecado contra Jehová vuestro Dios, y contra vosotros.
Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.

Así que, por favor, perdona mi pecado sólo esta vez y suplica al Señor tu Dios, pidiéndole que al menos me quite esta plaga mortal”.
Mas ruego ahora que perdones mi pecado solamente esta vez, y que oréis á Jehová vuestro Dios que quite de mí solamente esta muerte.
Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.

Moisés dejó al Faraón y rezó al Señor.
Y salió de con Faraón, y oró á Jehová.
And he went out from Pharaoh, and intreated the LORD.
Moses went out from Pharaoh, and prayed to the LORD.
El Señor cambió la dirección del viento, de modo que un fuerte viento del Oeste arrastró a las langostas hasta el Mar Rojo. No quedó ni una sola langosta en ningún lugar de Egipto.
Y Jehová volvió un viento occidental fortísimo, y quitó la langosta, y arrojóla en el mar Bermejo: ni una langosta quedó en todo el término de Egipto.
And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt.
The LORD sent an exceedingly strong west wind, which took up the locusts, and drove them into the Red Sea. There remained not one locust in all the borders of Egypt.
Pero el Señor hizo que el Faraón se obstinara y no dejara ir a los israelitas.
Mas Jehová endureció el corazón de Faraón; y no envió los hijos de Israel.

El Señor le dijo a Moisés: “Levanta tu mano hacia el cielo para que caiga la oscuridad sobre Egipto, una oscuridad tan espesa que se pueda sentir”.
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Extiende tu mano hacia el cielo, para que haya tinieblas sobre la tierra de Egipto, tales que cualquiera las palpe.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.
The LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.”
Moisés levantó su mano hacia el cielo, y todo Egipto quedó completamente a oscuras durante tres días.
Y extendió Moisés su mano hacia el cielo, y hubo densas tinieblas tres días por toda la tierra de Egipto.
And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:

Nadie podía ver a nadie más, y nadie se movió de donde estaba durante tres días. Pero todavía había luz donde vivían todos los israelitas.
Ninguno vió á su prójimo, ni nadie se levantó de su lugar en tres días; mas todos los hijos de Israel tenían luz en sus habitaciones.
They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

Finalmente el Faraón llamó a Moisés. “Vayan y adoren al Señor”, dijo. “Dejen a sus rebaños y manadas aquí. Incluso puedes llevarte a tus hijos contigo”.
Entonces Faraón hizo llamar á Moisés, y dijo: Id, servid á Jehová; solamente queden vuestras ovejas y vuestras vacas: vayan también vuestros niños con vosotros.
And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you.

Pero Moisés respondió: “También debes dejarnos animales para los sacrificios y los holocaustos, para que podamos ofrecerlos al Señor nuestro Dios.
Y Moisés respondió: Tú también nos entregarás sacrificios y holocaustos que sacrifiquemos á Jehová nuestro Dios.
And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.
Moses said, “You must also give into our hand sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.
Nuestro ganado tiene que ir con nosotros también.No se dejará ni un solo animal. Necesitaremos algunos para adorar al Señor nuestro Dios, y no sabremos cómo debemos adorar al Señor hasta que lleguemos allí”.
Nuestros ganados irán también con nosotros; no quedará ni una uña; porque de ellos hemos de tomar para servir á Jehová nuestro Dios; y no sabemos con qué hemos de servir á Jehová, hasta que lleguemos allá.
Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.

Pero el Señor hizo que el Faraón se obstinara, y no los dejó ir.

El Faraón le gritó a Moisés: “¡Fuera de aquí! ¡No quiero volver a verte nunca más! ¡Si te vuelvo a ver, morirás!”
Y díjole Faraón: Retírate de mí: guárdate que no veas más mi rostro, porque en cualquier día que vieres mi rostro, morirás.
And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die.
Pharaoh said to him, “Get away from me! Be careful to see my face no more; for in the day you see my face you shall die!”
“Que sea como tú dices”, respondió Moisés. “No volveré a verte”
Y Moisés respondió: Bien has dicho; no veré más tu rostro.
And Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more.
Moses said, “You have spoken well. I will see your face again no more.”
