3Und Esther redete abermals vor dem Könige, fiel ihm zu Füßen, weinte und flehte ihn um Gnade an, daß er den unheilvollen Anschlag, den Haman, der Agagiter, gegen die Juden geschmiedet hatte, abwenden möge.
