3Asimismo en todas las provincias, ciudades y pueblos, a donde había llegado el cruel edicto del rey, era grande la consternación de los judíos; ayunaban, prorrumpían en alaridos y lamentos, usando muchos de cilicio y ceniza en lugar de cama.
