Or Aman disse al re Assuero: Havvi un popolo disperso per tutte le provincie del tuo regno di uomini segregati tra' loro, i quali han leggi, e ceremonie inusitate, e oltre a ciò sprezzano gli ordini del re: e tu sai benissimo, che non torna bene pel tuo regno il lasciargli insolentire.
Y dijo Amán al rey Assuero: Hay un pueblo esparcido y dividido entre los pueblos en todas las provincias de tu reino, y sus leyes son diferentes de las de todo pueblo, y no observan las leyes del rey; y al rey no viene provecho de dejarlos.
And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king’s laws: therefore it is not for the king’s profit to suffer them.
Haman said to King Ahasuerus, “There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom, and their laws are different from other people’s. They don’t keep the king’s laws. Therefore it is not for the king’s profit to allow them to remain.
