8Dann sagte Haman zum König Ahasveros: »Da ist ein einzigartiges Volk, das unter den Völkern in allen Provinzen deines Reiches zerstreut und abgesondert lebt und dessen Gesetze von denen aller anderen Völker abweichen; da sie sich nun nach den Gesetzen des Königs nicht richten, so ist es für den König nicht geziemend, sie ruhig gewähren zu lassen.

8And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king’s laws: therefore it is not for the king’s profit to suffer them.

8Haman said to King Ahasuerus, “There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom, and their laws are different from other people’s. They don’t keep the king’s laws. Therefore it is not for the king’s profit to allow them to remain.
