7Im ersten Monat – das ist der Monat Nisan –, im zwölften Regierungsjahr des Königs Ahasveros, warf man das Pur, d.h. das Los, in Gegenwart Hamans von einem Tage zum andern und von einem Monat zum andern bis zum zwölften Monat, das ist der Monat Adar (und das Los fiel auf den dreizehnten Tag).

7In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.
