2So mußten denn alle Diener des Königs, die sich am königlichen Hofe befanden, die Knie vor Haman beugen und sich vor ihm niederwerfen; denn so hatte der König es ihm zu Ehren befohlen. Mardochai aber beugte die Knie nicht und warf sich auch nicht nieder.

2And all the king’s servants, that were in the king’s gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence.
