15Eilends zogen Eilboten auf königlich Geheiß hinaus, sobald das Gesetz zu Susan in der Burg erlassen war. Der König aber setzte sich zu einem Trinkgelage mit Haman nieder. Inzwischen aber kam die Stadt Susan in Aufregung.

15The posts went out, being hastened by the king’s commandment, and the decree was given in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city Shushan was perplexed.
