8Als nun der Gesetzeserlass des Königs bekannt wurde und man viele Mädchen in die Burg Susa zusammenbrachte unter die Obhut Hegais, wurde auch Esther in den Palast des Königs geholt unter die Obhut Hegais, des Aufsehers der Frauen.
