Efesios 6
Nova Bíblia Viva
1Filhos, obedeçam aos seus pais; essa é a atitude correta que vocês devem ter, porque o Senhor os colocou numa posição de autoridade sobre vocês.
2“Honre seu pai e sua mãe”. Este é o primeiro mandamento com promessa,
3“para que tudo corra bem e você tenha uma vida longa sobre a terra”.
4Pais, não vivam irritando seus filhos, deixando-os irados e rancorosos. Antes, eduquem-nos com a disciplina amorosa que o próprio Senhor aprova, com recomendações e conselhos.
5Escravos, obedeçam a seus senhores com respeito e temor. E façam isso com sinceridade como o fariam a Cristo.
6Não agradem aos seus senhores só enquanto eles estão vigiando, mas, como escravos de Cristo, façam de coração o que Deus quer.
7Trabalhem alegremente e com dedicação, como se estivessem trabalhando para Cristo, e não para pessoas.
8Lembrem-se de que o Senhor lhes recompensará cada coisa boa que fizerem, quer vocês sejam escravos, quer sejam livres.
9E vocês, senhores, tratem seus escravos da mesma forma. Não fiquem ameaçando-os o tempo todo; lembrem-se que vocês mesmos são escravos de Cristo e que vocês têm o mesmo Senhor que eles. Ele não faz diferença entre as pessoas.
10Por último, quero recordar-lhes que a força de vocês deve vir do imenso poder do Senhor dentro de vocês.
11Vistam-se de toda a armadura de Deus, a fim de que possam permanecer a salvo das táticas e das artimanhas de Satanás.
12Porque nós não estamos lutando contra gente feita de carne e sangue, mas contra os poderes e autoridades, contra os dominadores deste mundo de trevas, contra as forças espirituais do mal nas regiões celestiais.
13Portanto, usem cada peça da armadura de Deus para resistir ao inimigo sempre que ele atacar e, quando tudo estiver acabado, vocês ainda estejam de pé.
14Mas para fazer isso vocês necessitam do cinturão da verdade e da couraça da aprovação de Deus.
15Calcem sapatos que possam fazê-los andar depressa ao pregarem o evangelho da paz.
16Em cada batalha vocês precisarão da fé como escudo para deter as setas ardentes disparadas pelo Maligno contra vocês.
17Vocês precisarão do capacete da salvação e da espada do Espírito — que é a palavra de Deus.
18Orem no Espírito em todas as ocasiões, com toda oração e súplica. Fiquem alertas. Não desanimem e continuem orando fervorosamente por todos os cristãos em toda parte.
19Orem também por mim e peçam que Deus me dê as palavras certas enquanto eu falo corajosamente aos outros acerca do mistério do evangelho.
20Eu sou embaixador a serviço desse evangelho, embora esteja preso em correntes. Mas orem para que eu continue a falar dele corajosamente, até mesmo aqui na prisão, como é o meu dever.
21Tíquico, que é um irmão muito amado e cooperador fiel na obra do Senhor, informará vocês tudo a respeito de como estou passando.
22Estou enviando-o a vocês justamente com esse propósito, para que vocês saibam como estamos, e fiquem animados por meio das suas informações.
23Que Deus lhes dê paz, meus irmãos, e amor, além da fé proveniente de Deus o Pai e do Senhor Jesus Cristo.
24Que a graça esteja com todos os que amam sinceramente o nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.

1HIJOS, obedeced en el Señor á vuestros padres; porque esto es justo.
2Honra á tu padre y á tu madre, que es el primer mandamiento con promesa,
3Para que te vaya bien, y seas de larga vida sobre la tierra.
4Y vosotros, padres, no provoquéis á ira á vuestros hijos; sino criadlos en disciplina y amonestación del Señor.
5Siervos, obedeced á vuestros amos según la carne con temor y temblor, con sencillez de vuestro corazón, como á Cristo;
6No sirviendo al ojo, como los que agradan á los hombres; sino como siervos de Cristo, haciendo de ánimo la voluntad de Dios;
7Sirviendo con buena voluntad, como al Señor, y no á los hombres;
8Sabiendo que el bien que cada uno hiciere, esto recibirá del Señor, sea siervo ó sea libre.
9Y vosotros, amos, haced á ellos lo mismo, dejando las amenazas: sabiendo que el Señor de ellos y vuestro está en los cielos, y que no hay acepción de personas con él.
10Por lo demás, hermanos míos, confortaos en el Señor, y en la potencia de su fortaleza.
11Vestíos de toda la armadura de Dios, para que podáis estar firmes contra las asechanzas del diablo.
12Porque no tenemos lucha contra sangre y carne; sino contra principados, contra potestades, contra señores del mundo, gobernadores de estas tinieblas, contra malicias espirituales en los aires.
13Por tanto, tomad toda la armadura de Dios, para que podáis resistir en el día malo, y estar firmes, habiendo acabado todo.
14Estad pues firmes, ceñidos vuestros lomos de verdad, y vestidos de la cota de justicia,
15Y calzados los pies con el apresto del evangelio de paz;
16Sobre todo, tomando el escudo de la fe, con que podáis apagar todos los dardos de fuego del maligno.
17Y tomad el yelmo de salud, y la espada del Espíritu; que es la palabra de Dios;
18Orando en todo tiempo con toda deprecación y súplica en el Espíritu, y velando en ello con toda instancia y suplicación por todos los santos,
19Y por mí, para que me sea dada palabra en el abrir de mi boca con confianza, para hacer notorio el misterio del evangelio,
20Por el cual soy embajador en cadenas; que resueltamente hable de él, como debo hablar.
21Mas para que también vosotros sepáis mis negocios, y cómo lo paso, todo os lo hará saber Tichîco, hermano amado y fiel ministro en el Señor:
22Al cual os he enviado para esto mismo, para que entendáis lo tocante á nosotros, y que consuele vuestros corazones.
23Paz sea á los hermanos y amor con fe, de Dios Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.
24Gracia sea con todos los que aman á nuestro Señor Jesucristo en sinceridad. Amén. Escrita de Roma á los Efesios por Tichîco.

1Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
3That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
5Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
6Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
7With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
8Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
9And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
21But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
22Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
23Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
24Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

9You masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with him.

14Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace,
16above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
18with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.
19Pray for me, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News,
20for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
21But that you also may know my affairs, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will make known to you all things.
22I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know our state and that he may comfort your hearts.
23Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
24Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love. Amen.
