Efesios 5

Portanto, sejam imitadores de Deus, como filhos amados.

SED, pues, imitadores de Dios como hijos amados:

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.

Andem em amor, assim como Cristo também nos amou e se entregou por nós, como oferta e sacrifício a Deus, de aroma suave.

Y andad en amor, como también Cristo nos amó, y se entregó á sí mismo por nosotros, ofrenda y sacrificio á Dios en olor suave.

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

Mas a imoralidade sexual, e toda impureza ou cobiça, não sejam sequer mencionadas entre vocês, como convém aos santos;

Pero fornicación y toda inmundicia, ó avaricia, ni aun se nombre entre vosotros, como conviene á santos;

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;

nem obscenidade, nem conversas tolas, nem piadas indecentes, que não são apropriadas, mas, em vez disso, ações de graças.

Ni palabras torpes, ni necedades, ni truhanerías, que no convienen; sino antes bien acciones de gracias.

Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Saibam disto com certeza: nenhum imoral, ou impuro, ou avarento (que é idólatra) tem qualquer herança no Reino de Cristo e de Deus.

Porque sabéis esto, que ningún fornicario, ó inmundo, ó avaro, que es servidor de ídolos, tiene herencia en el reino de Cristo y de Dios.

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.

Ninguém os engane com palavras vazias, pois por causa dessas coisas a ira de Deus vem sobre os filhos da desobediência.

Nadie os engañe con palabras vanas; porque por estas cosas viene la ira de Dios sobre los hijos de desobediencia.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

Portanto, não sejam participantes com eles.

No seáis pues aparceros con ellos;

Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Therefore don’t be partakers with them.

Pois outrora vocês eram trevas, mas agora são luz no Senhor. Andem como filhos da luz,

Porque en otro tiempo erais tinieblas; mas ahora sois luz en el Señor: andad como hijos de luz,

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

pois o fruto do Espírito está em toda bondade, justiça e verdade,

(Porque el fruto del Espíritu es en toda bondad, y justicia, y verdad;)

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

provando o que é agradável ao Senhor.

Aprobando lo que es agradable al Señor.

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.

Não tenham comunhão com as obras infrutíferas das trevas, mas, em vez disso, até mesmo as repreendam.

Y no comuniquéis con las obras infructuosas de las tinieblas; sino antes bien redargüidlas.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

Pois é vergonhoso até mesmo falar das coisas que são feitas por eles em segredo.

Porque torpe cosa es aun hablar de lo que ellos hacen en oculto.

For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

Mas todas as coisas, quando são repreendidas, são reveladas pela luz, pois tudo o que revela é luz.

Mas todas las cosas cuando son redargüidas, son manifestadas por la luz; porque lo que manifiesta todo, la luz es.

But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.

Por isso ele diz: “Desperte, você que dorme, levante-se dentre os mortos, e Cristo brilhará sobre você.”

Por lo cual dice: Despiértate, tú que duermes, y levántate de los muertos, y te alumbrará Cristo.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Portanto, prestem muita atenção em como vocês andam, não como tolos, mas como sábios,

Mirad, pues, cómo andéis avisadamente; no como necios, mas como sabios;

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,

remindo o tempo, porque os dias são maus.

Redimiendo el tiempo, porque los días son malos.

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Portanto, não sejam insensatos, mas entendam qual é a vontade do Senhor.

Por tanto, no seáis imprudentes, sino entendidos de cuál sea la voluntad del Señor.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Não se embriaguem com vinho, no qual há devassidão, mas encham-se do Espírito,

Y no os embriaguéis de vino, en lo cual hay disolución; mas sed llenos de Espíritu;

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,

falando uns aos outros com salmos, hinos e cânticos espirituais; cantando e fazendo melodia em seu coração ao Senhor;

Hablando entre vosotros con salmos, y con himnos, y canciones espirituales, cantando y alabando al Señor en vuestros corazones;

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

dando graças sempre por todas as coisas, em nome de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, a Deus, o Pai;

Dando gracias siempre de todo al Dios y Padre en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo:

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;

sujeitando-se uns aos outros no temor de Cristo.

Sujetados los unos á los otros en el temor de Dios.

Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.

Esposas, sujeitem-se aos seus próprios maridos, como ao Senhor.

Las casadas estén sujetas á sus propios maridos, como al Señor.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

Pois o marido é o cabeça da esposa, assim como Cristo também é o cabeça da igreja, sendo ele próprio o salvador do corpo.

Porque el marido es cabeza de la mujer, así como Cristo es cabeza de la iglesia; y él es el que da la salud al cuerpo.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.

Mas, assim como a igreja está sujeita a Cristo, que as esposas também estejam sujeitas aos seus próprios maridos em tudo.

Así que, como la iglesia está sujeta á Cristo, así también las casadas lo estén á sus maridos en todo.

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.

Maridos, amem as suas esposas, assim como Cristo também amou a igreja e se entregou por ela,

Maridos, amad á vuestras mujeres, así como Cristo amó á la iglesia, y se entregó á sí mismo por ella,

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,

para que pudesse santificá-la, tendo-a purificado pela lavagem de água com a palavra,

Para santificarla limpiándola en el lavacro del agua por la palabra,

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,

para que pudesse apresentar a igreja a si mesmo gloriosamente, sem mancha, nem ruga, nem qualquer coisa semelhante, mas para que fosse santa e sem defeito.

Para presentársela gloriosa para sí, una iglesia que no tuviese mancha ni arruga, ni cosa semejante; sino que fuese santa y sin mancha.

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without defect.

Da mesma forma, os maridos também devem amar as suas próprias esposas como aos seus próprios corpos. Quem ama a sua própria esposa, ama a si mesmo.

Así también los maridos deben amar á sus mujeres como á sus mismos cuerpos. El que ama á su mujer, á sí mismo se ama.

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.

Pois ninguém jamais odiou a sua própria carne, mas a nutre e cuida dela, assim como o Senhor também faz com a igreja,

Porque ninguno aborreció jamás á su propia carne, antes la sustenta y regala, como también Cristo á la iglesia;

For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly,

porque somos membros do seu corpo, da sua carne e dos seus ossos.

Porque somos miembros de su cuerpo, de su carne y de sus huesos.

For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.

“Por esta causa o homem deixará seu pai e sua mãe e se unirá à sua esposa. Então os dois se tornarão uma só carne.”

Por esto dejará el hombre á su padre y á su madre, y se allegará á su mujer, y serán dos en una carne.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

“For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.”

Este mistério é grande, mas eu falo a respeito de Cristo e da igreja.

Este misterio grande es: mas yo digo esto con respecto á Cristo y á la iglesia.

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the assembly.

No entanto, cada um de vocês também deve amar a sua própria esposa como a si mesmo; e a esposa tenha o cuidado de respeitar o seu marido.

Cada uno empero de vosotros de por sí, ame también á su mujer como á sí mismo; y la mujer reverencie á su marido.

Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
