Efesios 4

Por lo tanto, como el prisionero para el Señor, yo les insisto a caminar dignamente en el llamado por el cual fueron llamados.

YO pues, preso en el Señor, os ruego que andéis como es digno de la vocación con que sois llamados;

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,

Vivan con gran humildad, gentileza y paciencia. Aceptence unos a otros en amor.

Con toda humildad y mansedumbre, con paciencia soportando los unos á los otros en amor;

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love,

Hagan lo mejor para mantener la unidad del Espíritu en el vínculo de la paz.

Solícitos á guardar la unidad del Espíritu en el vínculo de la paz.

Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Hay un cuerpo y un Espíritu, así como también ustedes fueron llamados en una expectativa confiable de su llamamiento.

Un cuerpo, y un Espíritu; como sois también llamados á una misma esperanza de vuestra vocación:

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling,

Y hay un Señor, una fe, un bautismo,

Un Señor, una fe, un bautismo,

One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

un Dios y Padre de todos. Él es sobre todo, por medio de todo y en todo.

Un Dios y Padre de todos, el cual es sobre todas las cosas, y por todas las cosas, y en todos vosotros.

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in us all.

A cada uno de nosotros ha sido entregado un don de acuerdo a la medida del don de Cristo.

Empero á cada uno de nosotros es dada la gracia conforme á la medida del don de Cristo.

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

But to each one of us, the grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Es como dice la Escritura: "CUANDO ÉL ASCENDIÓ A LAS ALTURAS, ÉL LIDERÓ A LOS CAUTIVOS AL CAUTIVERIO, Y DIO DONES AL PUEBLO."

Por lo cual dice: Subiendo á lo alto, llevó cautiva la cautividad, y dió dones á los hombres.

Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Therefore he says, “When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to people.”

¿Cual es el significado de: "Él ascendió," excepto que Él también descendió a las profundidades de la tierra?

(Y que subió, ¿qué es, sino que también había descendido primero á las partes más bajas de la tierra?

(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

Now this, “He ascended”, what is it but that he also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?

Aquel quien descendió, es la misma persona que también ascendió muy por encima de todos los cielos. Él hizo esto para que así Él pudiera llenar todas las cosas.

El que descendió, él mismo es el que también subió sobre todos los cielos para cumplir todas las cosas.)

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.

Cristo entregó dones como estos: apóstoles, profetas, evangelistas, pastores y maestros.

Y él mismo dió unos, ciertamente apóstoles; y otros, profetas; y otros, evangelistas; y otros, pastores y doctores;

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;

Él hizo esto para equipar a los creyentes para el trabajo del servicio, para la edificación del cuerpo de Cristo.

Para perfección de los santos, para la obra del ministerio, para edificación del cuerpo de Cristo;

For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ,

Él está haciendo esto hasta que todos nosotros alcancemos la unidad de la fe y el conocimiento del Hijo de Dios. Él está haciendo esto hasta que nosotros maduremos como aquellos quienes han alcanzado la estatura completa de Cristo.

Hasta que todos lleguemos á la unidad de la fe y del conocimiento del Hijo de Dios, á un varón perfecto, á la medida de la edad de la plenitud de Cristo:

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

Esto es para que nosotros ya no seamos más como niños. Esto es para que nosotros no seamos arrastrados de aquí para allá. Esto es así para que nosotros no seamos llevados por todo viento de enseñanza, de gente astuta en el ingenio del engaño errante.

Que ya no seamos niños fluctuantes, y llevados por doquiera de todo viento de doctrina, por estratagema de hombres que, para engañar, emplean con astucia los artificios del error:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

En su lugar, nosotros hablaremos la verdad en amor y creceremos en todas las maneras hacia Él quien es la cabeza, Cristo.

Antes siguiendo la verdad en amor, crezcamos en todas cosas en aquel que es la cabeza, á saber, Cristo;

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ,

Cristo une todo el cuerpo de creyentes. Es mantenido unido por cada ligamento, de modo que todo el cuerpo crece y se edifica a sí mismo en amor.

Del cual, todo el cuerpo compuesto y bien ligado entre sí por todas las junturas de su alimento, que recibe según la operación, cada miembro conforme á su medida toma aumento de cuerpo edificándose en amor.

From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.

Por lo tanto, yo digo esto y les exhorto en el Señor: ustedes no caminen más como los gentiles que caminan en la futilidad de sus mentes.

Esto pues digo, y requiero en el Señor, que no andéis más como los otros Gentiles, que andan en la vanidad de su sentido,

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,

Ellos son de pensamiento oscurecido. Ellos están enajenados de la vida de Dios por la ignorancia que hay en ellos por causa de la dureza de sus corazones.

Teniendo el entendimiento entenebrecido, ajenos de la vida de Dios por la ignorancia que en ellos hay, por la dureza de su corazón:

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts.

Ellos no sienten verguenza. Ellos se han entregado a sí mismos a la sensualidad en acciones impuras, en todo tipo de exceso.

Los cuales después que perdieron el sentido de la conciencia, se entregaron á la desvergüenza para cometer con avidez toda suerte de impureza.

Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

They, having become callous, gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Pero esto no es como ustedes aprendieron acerca de Cristo.

Mas vosotros no habéis aprendido así á Cristo:

But ye have not so learned Christ;

But you didn’t learn Christ that way,

Yo supongo que ustedes han escuchado acerca de Él. Yo supongo que ustedes han sido enseñados en Él, como la verdad está en Jesús.

Si empero lo habéis oído, y habéis sido por él enseñados, como la verdad está en Jesús,

If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

if indeed you heard him and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus:

Ustedes tienen que deshacerse de su conducta anterior, el viejo hombre. Este es el el viejo hombre que se está pudriendo por causa de sus deseos engañosos.

A que dejéis, cuanto á la pasada manera de vivir, el viejo hombre que está viciado conforme á los deseos de error;

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit,

Dejen a un lado su viejo hombre de modo que ustedes puedan ser renovados en el espíritu de sus mentes.

Y á renovaros en el espíritu de vuestra mente,

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

Hagan ésto para que se puedan revestirse del nuevo hombre, quien es de acuerdo a Dios. Es creado en justicia y santidad de verdad.

Y vestir el nuevo hombre que es criado conforme á Dios en justicia y en santidad de verdad.

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

Por lo tanto, desechen la falsedad. "HABLEN LA VERDAD, CADA CUAL CON SU VECINO, " porque somos miembros unos con los otros.

Por lo cual, dejada la mentira, hablad verdad cada uno con su prójimo; porque somos miembros los unos de los otros.

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

"ENÓJENSE, PERO NO PEQUEN." No permitan que se ponga el sol sobre su enojo.

Airaos, y no pequéis; no se ponga el sol sobre vuestro enojo;

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

“Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath,

No den lugar al diablo.

Ni deis lugar al diablo.

Neither give place to the devil.

and don’t give place to the devil.

Cualquiera que roba, no debe robar más. En su lugar, él tiene que trabajar. Tiene que trabajar útilmente con sus manos, para que así sea capaz de compartir con la persona que tiene necesidad.

El que hurtaba, no hurte más; antes trabaje, obrando con sus manos lo que es bueno, para que tenga de qué dar al que padeciere necesidad.

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.

Ninguna expresión mala debe salir de tu boca. En cambio, las palabras que tienen que salir deben ser útiles para satisfacer las necesidades, para proveer beneficio a aquellos quienes están escuchando.

Ninguna palabra torpe salga de vuestra boca, sino la que sea buena para edificación, para que dé gracia á los oyentes.

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Y no entristezcan al Espíritu Santo de Dios. Es por Él que ustedes han sido sellados para el día de la redención.

Y no contristéis al Espíritu Santo de Dios, con el cual estáis sellados para el día de la redención.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Dejen toda amargura, ira, enojo, gritería e insultos, junto con toda clase de maldad.

Toda amargura, y enojo, é ira, y voces, y maledicencia sea quitada de vosotros, y toda malicia:

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice.

Sean amables unos con otros. Sean tiernos de corazón. Perdónense unos a otros, así como Dios en Cristo les perdonó.

Antes sed los unos con los otros benignos, misericordiosos, perdonándoos los unos á los otros, como también Dios os perdonó en Cristo.

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
