Non v'ha chi viva per sempre o di tal cosa si lusinghi: un cane vivo val più, che un lion morto.

Aun hay esperanza para todo aquél que está entre los vivos; porque mejor es perro vivo que león muerto.

For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

For to him who is joined with all the living there is hope; for a living dog is better than a dead lion.
