Questo solo trovai, che Dio fece diritto l'uomo; ma questi si involse in immense questioni. Chi è che si rassomigli al saggio! E chi è che comprenda lo scioglimento della questione. La saggezza splende nel volto del savio: della osservanza dei divini comandamenti: l’uomo non conosce se non il presente, nè può scansare la morte: gli empj peccano, più liberamente, perche Dio è clemente: le stesse cose succedono ai giusti, e agli empj: vie di Dio impenetrabili.
