Non impiegare la tua parola a far peccare la tua carne, e non dire dinanzi all'Angelo: provvidenza non è, affinchè non avvenga, che Dio sdegnato del tuo parlare, tutte distrugga le opere delle tue mani.

Mejor es que no prometas, que no que prometas y no pagues.

Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.

It is better that you should not vow, than that you should vow and not pay.
