9Ich stieg auf den Berg, die Steintafeln zu empfangen, die Tafeln des Bundes, den der Herr mit euch geschlossen, und ich blieb vierzig Tage und Nächte auf dem Berg. Brot habe ich nicht gegessen und Wasser nicht getrunken.

9Cuando yo subí al monte para recibir las tablas de piedra, las tablas del pacto que Jehová hizo con vosotros, estuve entonces en el monte cuarenta días y cuarenta noches, sin comer pan ni beber agua:

9When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water:

9When I had gone up onto the mountain to receive the stone tablets, even the tablets of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water.
