“Tenham muito cuidado em cumprir todos os mandamentos que eu hoje ordeno a vocês, para que vocês vivam, se multipliquem e tomem posse da terra que o Senhor prometeu, sob juramento, aos seus antepassados.
CUIDARÉIS de poner por obra todo mandamiento que yo os ordeno hoy, porque viváis, y seáis multiplicados, y entréis, y poseáis la tierra, de la cual juró Jehová á vuestros padres.
All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.

“Lembrem-se de como o Senhor guiou vocês por todo o caminho através do deserto durante quarenta anos, para humilhá-los e prová-los, a fim de saber o que estava no coração de vocês, para ver se vocês obedeceriam ou não aos seus mandamentos.
Y acordarte has de todo el camino por donde te ha traído Jehová tu Dios estos cuarenta años en el desierto, para afligirte, por probarte, para saber lo que estaba en tu corazón, si habías de guardar ó no sus mandamientos.
And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
You shall remember all the way which the LORD your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.
Ele os afligiu, deixando que passassem fome; depois ele os sustentou com o maná que nem vocês nem os seus antepassados conheciam. O Senhor fez isso para mostrar a vocês que não só de pão vive o homem, mas de toda palavra que procede da boca de Deus.
Y te afligió, é hízote tener hambre, y te sustentó con maná, comida que no conocías tú, ni tus padres la habían conocido; para hacerte saber que el hombre no vivirá de solo pan, mas de todo lo que sale de la boca de Jehová vivirá el hombre.
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of the LORD’s mouth.
Durante estes quarenta anos, a roupa que vocês usaram não envelheceu, e os seus pés nem sequer ficaram inchados!
Tu vestido nunca se envejeció sobre ti, ni el pie se te ha hinchado por estos cuarenta años.
Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.
Your clothing didn’t grow old on you, neither did your foot swell, these forty years.
É bom que reconheçam em seu coração que assim como um homem castiga o seu filho, assim o Senhor, o seu Deus, os castiga.
Reconoce asimismo en tu corazón, que como castiga el hombre á su hijo, así Jehová tu Dios te castiga.
Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.
You shall consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you.
“Obedeçam aos mandamentos do Senhor, o seu Deus. Andem nos seus caminhos. Não deixem de temê-lo.
Guardarás, pues, los mandamientos de Jehová tu Dios, andando en sus caminos, y temiéndolo.
Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

Pois o Senhor, o seu Deus, está levando vocês para uma boa terra, terra de ribeiros, de fontes e de abundantes mananciais que regam vales e montanhas;
Porque Jehová tu Dios te introduce en la buena tierra, tierra de arroyos, de aguas, de fuentes, de abismos que brotan por vegas y montes;
For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

terra de trigo e cevada, de vinhas, figueiras e romãzeiras; terra de oliveiras, de azeite e mel;

“Quando vocês comerem e ficarem satisfeitos, deem graças e louvores ao Senhor, o seu Deus, pela boa terra que ele deu a vocês.
Y comerás y te hartarás, y bendecirás á Jehová tu Dios por la buena tierra que te habrá dado.
When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

Mas vigiem para não esquecer do Senhor, o seu Deus, não cumprindo os seus mandamentos, as suas leis e os seus decretos que hoje ordeno a vocês,
Guárdate, que no te olvides de Jehová tu Dios, para no observar sus mandamientos, y sus derechos, y sus estatutos, que yo te ordeno hoy:
Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

para que não aconteça que, depois de terem comido e estarem satisfeitos, depois de terem construído belas casas para morar,
Que quizá no comas y te hartes, y edifiques buenas casas en que mores,
Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;
lest, when you have eaten and are full, and have built fine houses and lived in them;
e depois de multiplicarem o seu gado e os seus rebanhos e aumentarem a prata e o ouro, e todos os seus bens,
Y tus vacas y tus ovejas se aumenten, y la plata y el oro se te multiplique, y todo lo que tuvieres se te aumente,
And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;

o seu coração fique orgulhoso e venham a esquecer o Senhor, o seu Deus, que libertou vocês da escravidão do Egito
Y se eleve luego tu corazón, y te olvides de Jehová tu Dios, que te sacó de tierra de Egipto, de casa de siervos;

e que os conduziu pelo imenso e terrível deserto cheio de serpentes venenosas e escorpiões, de terra árida e sem água. Ele tirou água da rocha para vocês,
Que te hizo caminar por un desierto grande y espantoso, de serpientes ardientes, y de escorpiones, y de sed, donde ningún agua había, y él te sacó agua de la roca del pedernal;
Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;
who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with venomous snakes and scorpions, and thirsty ground where there was no water; who poured water for you out of the rock of flint;
e os alimentou no deserto com maná, que os seus antepassados não conheciam, para humilhá-los e prová-los. Tudo isso aconteceu para o bem de vocês.
Que te sustentó con maná en el desierto, comida que tus padres no habían conocido, afligiéndote y probándote, para á la postre hacerte bien;
Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers didn’t know, that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end;
O Senhor agiu assim para que vocês nunca viessem a pensar: ‘Conseguimos estas riquezas com a nossa própria força e capacidade’.
Y digas en tu corazón: Mi poder y la fortaleza de mi mano me han traído esta riqueza.
And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
and lest you say in your heart, “My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.”
Lembrem-se sempre do Senhor, o seu Deus, que dá a vocês a capacidade para enriquecer, confirmando a aliança que fez com os seus antepassados, conforme se vê hoje.
Antes acuérdate de Jehová tu Dios: porque él te da el poder para hacer las riquezas, á fin de confirmar su pacto que juró á tus padres, como en este día.
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

“Mas se vocês se esquecerem do Senhor, o seu Deus, se seguirem outros deuses, servindo a eles e adorando-os, asseguro-lhes hoje que vocês certamente morrerão.
Mas será, si llegares á olvidarte de Jehová tu Dios, y anduvieres en pos de dioses ajenos, y les sirvieres, y á ellos te encorvares, protéstolo hoy contra vosotros, que de cierto pereceréis.
And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

Como o Senhor fez com as outras nações, destruindo-as diante de vocês, assim vocês serão destruídos, porque não quiseram obedecer à voz do Senhor, o seu Deus.
Como las gentes que Jehová destruirá delante de vosotros, así pereceréis; por cuanto no habréis atendido á la voz de Jehová vuestro Dios.
As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.
As the nations that the LORD makes to perish before you, so you shall perish, because you wouldn’t listen to the LORD your God’s voice.
