der in der Wüste dich mit Manna speiste, von welchem deine Väter nichts gewusst haben, um dich zu demütigen und zu erproben, auf dass er dir zuletzt dann Gutes tue,

Que te sustentó con maná en el desierto, comida que tus padres no habían conocido, afligiéndote y probándote, para á la postre hacerte bien;

Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers didn’t know, that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end;
