1Dies sind aber die Gesetze und Gebote und Rechte, die der HERR, euer Gott, geboten hat, dati ihr sie lernen und tun sollt im Lande, dahin ihr ziehet, dasselbe einzunehmen
2daü du den HERRN, deinen Gott, fürchtest, und haltest alle seine Rechte und Gebote, die ich dir gebiete, du und deine Kinder und deine Kindeskinder, alle eure Lebtage, auf dati ihr lange lebet.
3Israel, du sollst horen und behalten, daß du es tust, dati dir's wohlgehe, und sehr vermehret werdest; wie der HERR, deiner Vater Gott, dir geredet hat, ein Land, da Milch und Honig innen fleulit.
4Hore, Israel, der HERR, unser Gott, ist ein einiger HERR.
5Und du sollst den HERRN, deinen Gott, liebhaben von ganzem Herzen, von ganzer Seele, von allem Vermogen.
6Und diese Worte, die ich dir heute gebiete, sollst du zu Herzen nehmen.
7Und sollst sie deinen Kindern scharfen und davon reden, wenn du in deinem Hause sitzest Oder auf dem Wege gehest, wenn du dich niederlegest Oder aufstehest.
8Und sollst sie binden zum Zeichen auf deine Hand, und sollen direin Denkmal vor deinen Augen sein.
9Und sollst sie uber deines Hauses Pfosten schreiben und an die Tore.
10Wenn dich nun der HERR, dein Gott, in das Land bringen wird, das er deinen Vatern, Abraham, Isaak und Jakob, geschworen hat, dirzu geben, grolie und feine Stadte, die du nicht gebauet hast,
11und Hauser alles Guts voll, die du nicht gefullet hast, und ausgehauene Brunnen, die du nicht ausgehauen hast, und Weinberge und Olberge, die du nicht gepflanzt hast, dafi du essest und satt wirst:
12so hute dich, daß du nicht des HERRN vergessest, der dich aus Agyptenland, aus dem Diensthause, gefuhret hat,
13sondern sollst den HERRN, deinen Gott, furchten und ihm dienen und bei seinem Namen schworen.
14Und sollst nicht andern Gottern nachfolgen, der Volker, die urn euch her sind;
15denn der HERR, dein Gott, ist ein eifriger Gott unter dir; daß nicht der Zorn des HERRN, deines Gottes, uber dich ergrimme und vertilge dich von der Erde.
16Ihr sollt den HERRN, euren Gott, nicht versuchen, wie ihr ihn versuchtet zu Massa,
17sondern sollt halten die Gebote des HERRN, eures Gottes, und seine Zeugnisse und seine Rechte, die er geboten hat,
18dati du tust, was recht und gut ist vor den Augen des HERRN, auf daß dir's wohlgehe, und eingehest und einnehmest das gute Land, das der HERR geschworen hat deinen Vatern,
19dati er verjage alle deine Feinde vor dir, wie der HERR geredet hat.
20Wenn dich nun dein Sohn heute Oder morgen fragen wird und sagen: Was sind das fur Zeugnisse, Gebote und Rechte, die euch der HERR, unser Gott, geboten hat?
21so sollst du deinem Sohn sagen: Wirwaren Knechte des Pharao in Agypten, und der HERR führete uns aus Agypten mit machtiger Hand;
22und der HERR tat grotie und bose Zeichen und Wunder uber Agypten und Pharao und all seinem Hause vor unsern Augen;
23und führete uns von dannen, auf dati er uns einfuhrete und gabe uns das Land, das er unsern Vatern geschworen hatte;
24und hat uns geboten, der HERR, zu tun nach alien diesen Rechten, daß wir den HERRN, unsern Gott, furchten, auf daß uns wohlgehe alle unsere Lebtage, wie es gehet heutigestages.
25Und es wird unsere Gerechtigkeit sein vor dem HERRN, unserm Gott, so wir halten und tun alle diese Gebote, wie er uns geboten hat.

1ESTOS pues son los mandamientos, estatutos, y derechos que Jehová vuestro Dios mandó que os enseñase, para que los pongáis por obra en la tierra á la cual pasáis vosotros para poseerla:
2Para que temas á Jehová tu Dios, guardando todos sus estatutos y sus mandamientos que yo te mando, tú, y tu hijo, y el hijo de tu hijo, todos los días de tu vida, y que tus días sean prolongados.
3Oye pues, oh Israel, y cuida de ponerlos por obra, para que te vaya bien, y seáis multiplicados, como te ha dicho Jehová el Dios de tus padres, en la tierra que destila leche y miel.
4Oye, Israel: Jehová nuestro Dios, Jehová uno es:
5Y amarás á Jehová tu Dios de todo tu corazón, y de toda tu alma, y con todo tu poder.
6Y estas palabras que yo te mando hoy, estarán sobre tu corazón:
7Y las repetirás á tus hijos, y hablarás de ellas estando en tu casa, y andando por el camino, y al acostarte, y cuando te levantes:
8Y has de atarlas por señal en tu mano, y estarán por frontales entre tus ojos:
9Y las escribirás en los postes de tu casa, y en tus portadas.
10Y será, cuando Jehová tu Dios te hubiere introducido en la tierra que juró á tus padres Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob, que te daría; en ciudades grandes y buenas que tú no edificaste,
11Y casas llenas de todo bien, que tú no henchiste, y cisternas cavadas, que tú no cavaste, viñas y olivares que no plantaste: luego que comieres y te hartares,
12Guárdate que no te olvides de Jehová, que te sacó de tierra de Egipto, de casa de siervos.
13A Jehová tu Dios temerás, y á él servirás, y por su nombre jurarás.
14No andaréis en pos de dioses ajenos, de los dioses de los pueblos que están en vuestros contornos:
15Porque el Dios celoso, Jehová tu Dios, en medio de ti está; porque no se inflame el furor de Jehová tu Dios contra ti, y te destruya de sobre la haz de la tierra.
16No tentaréis á Jehová vuestro Dios, como lo tentasteis en Massa.
17Guardad cuidadosamente los mandamientos de Jehová vuestro Dios, y sus testimonios, y sus estatutos, que te ha mandado.
18Y harás lo recto y bueno en ojos de Jehová, para que te vaya bien, y entres y poseas la buena tierra que Jehová juró á tus padres;
19Para que él eche á todos tus enemigos de delante de ti, como Jehová ha dicho.
20Cuando mañana te preguntare tu hijo, diciendo: ¿Qué significan los testimonios, y estatutos, y derechos, que Jehová nuestro Dios os mandó?
21Entonces dirás á tu hijo: Nosotros éramos siervos de Faraón en Egipto, y Jehová nos sacó de Egipto con mano fuerte;
22Y dió Jehová señales y milagros grandes y nocivos en Egipto, sobre Faraón y sobre toda su casa, delante de nuestros ojos;
23Y sacónos de allá, para traernos y darnos la tierra que juró á nuestros padres;
24Y mandónos Jehová que ejecutásemos todos estos estatutos, y que temamos á Jehová nuestro Dios, porque nos vaya bien todos los días, y para que nos dé vida, como hoy.
25Y tendremos justicia cuando cuidáremos de poner por obra todos estos mandamientos delante de Jehová nuestro Dios, como él nos ha mandado.

1Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
2That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
3Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
4Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
5And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
9And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
10And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
11And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;
12Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
13Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.
14Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
15(For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
16Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
17Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
18And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers,
19To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the LORD hath spoken.
20And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God hath commanded you?
21Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh’s bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:
22And the LORD shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:
23And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.
24And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
25And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.

1Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the ordinances, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land that you go over to possess;
2that you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you—you, your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.
3Hear therefore, Israel, and observe to do it, that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised to you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.
4Hear, Israel: The LORD is our God. The LORD is one.
5You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.
6These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart;
7and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
8You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.
9You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates.
10It shall be, when the LORD your God brings you into the land which he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you, great and goodly cities which you didn’t build,
11and houses full of all good things which you didn’t fill, and cisterns dug out which you didn’t dig, vineyards and olive trees which you didn’t plant, and you shall eat and be full;
12then beware lest you forget the LORD, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
13You shall fear the LORD your God; and you shall serve him, and shall swear by his name.
14You shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples who are around you,
15for the LORD your God among you is a jealous God, lest the anger of the LORD your God be kindled against you, and he destroy you from off the face of the earth.
16You shall not tempt the LORD your God, as you tempted him in Massah.
17You shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.
18You shall do that which is right and good in the LORD’s sight, that it may be well with you and that you may go in and possess the good land which the LORD swore to your fathers,
19to thrust out all your enemies from before you, as the LORD has spoken.
20When your son asks you in time to come, saying, “What do the testimonies, the statutes, and the ordinances, which the LORD our God has commanded you mean?”
21then you shall tell your son, “We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt. The LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand;
22and the LORD showed great and awesome signs and wonders on Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his house, before our eyes;
23and he brought us out from there, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he swore to our fathers.
24The LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are today.
25It shall be righteousness to us, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us.”
