Cara á cara habló Jehová con vosotros en el monte de en medio del fuego,
The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,

ich aber stand damals zwischen dem Herrn und euch, um euch die Worte des Herrn zu verkünden; denn ihr waret voll Furcht vor dem Feuer und stieget nicht auf den Berg -, und er sprach: (a) 2Mo 20:18
(Yo estaba entonces entre Jehová y vosotros, para denunciaros la palabra de Jehová; porque vosotros tuvisteis temor del fuego, y no subisteis al monte;) diciendo:
(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,

No harás para ti escultura, ni imagen alguna de cosa que está arriba en los cielos, ó abajo en la tierra, ó en las aguas debajo de la tierra:

der aber Gnade übt bis ins tausendste Geschlecht an den Kindern derer, die mich lieben und meine Gebote halten.
Y que hago misericordia á millares á los que me aman, y guardan mis mandamientos.

Du sollst nicht verlangen nach dem Weibe deines Nächsten und nicht begehren nach dem Hause oder Acker deines Nächsten, nach seinem Sklaven oder seiner Sklavin, nach seinem Rinde oder seinem Esel, nach irgend etwas, was dein Nächster hat.
No codiciarás la mujer de tu prójimo, ni desearás la casa de tu prójimo, ni su tierra, ni su siervo, ni su sierva, ni su buey, ni su asno, ni ninguna cosa que sea de tu prójimo.
Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour’s wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

Diese Worte redete der Herr auf dem Berge zu eurer ganzen Gemeinde, mitten aus dem Feuer, dem Gewölk und Dunkel, mit lauter Stimme, und weiter nichts. Und er schrieb sie auf zwei steinerne Tafeln und gab sie mir. (a) 2Mo 31:18

ALS ihr aber die Stimme aus der Finsternis heraus hörtet, während der Berg im Feuer brannte, tratet ihr zu mir, alle Häupter eurer Stämme und eure Ältesten,
Y aconteció, que como vosotros oisteis la voz de en medio de las tinieblas, y visteis al monte que ardía en fuego, llegasteis á mí todos los príncipes de vuestras tribus, y vuestros ancianos;
And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;

und sprachet: "Siehe, der Herr, unser Gott, hat uns seine Herrlichkeit und seine Grösse sehen lassen, und wir haben seine Stimme aus dem Feuer heraus gehört. Heute haben wir gesehen, dass Gott mit den Menschen reden kann, ohne dass sie sterben müssen.
Y dijisteis: He aquí, Jehová nuestro Dios nos ha mostrado su gloria y su grandeza, y hemos oído su voz de en medio del fuego: hoy hemos visto que Jehová habla al hombre, y éste vive.
And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.

Aber warum sollen wir jetzt sterben? Denn dieses grosse Feuer wird uns verzehren; wenn wir noch länger die Stimme des Herrn, unsres Gottes, hören, müssen wir sterben.
Ahora pues, ¿por qué moriremos? que este gran fuego nos consumirá: si tornáremos á oir la voz de Jehová nuestro Dios, moriremos.

O dass ihr Herz so wäre, dass sie allezeit mich fürchten und meine Gebote halten wollten, damit es ihnen wohl erginge und ihren Kindern ewiglich!

So tut nun getreulich, wie euch der Herr, euer Gott, geboten hat, und weichet nicht zur Rechten noch zur Linken;
