Deuteronomio 5

Moisés llamó a todo Israel y dijo: "Escucha Israel, los estatutos y decretos que yo hablo a tus oídos hoy, para que ustedes puedan aprenderlos y guardarlos.

Y LLAMÓ Moisés á todo Israel, y díjoles: Oye, Israel, los estatutos y derechos que yo pronuncio hoy en vuestros oídos: y aprendedlos, y guardadlos, para ponerlos por obra.

And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.

Moses called to all Israel, and said to them, “Hear, Israel, the statutes and the ordinances which I speak in your ears today, that you may learn them, and observe to do them.”

EL SEÑOR DIOS hizo un pacto con nosotros en Horeb.

Jehová nuestro Dios hizo pacto con nosotros en Horeb.

The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

EL SEÑOR no ha hecho un pacto con nuestros antepasados, pero sí con todos nosotros, vivos aquí hoy.

No con nuestros padres hizo Jehová este pacto, sino con nosotros todos los que estamos aquí hoy vivos.

The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

The LORD didn’t make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive today.

El Señor habló con ustedes cara a cara en el monte en medio del fuego.

Cara á cara habló Jehová con vosotros en el monte de en medio del fuego,

The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,

The LORD spoke with you face to face on the mountain out of the middle of the fire,

(Yo me paré enmedio del SEÑOR y ustedes en ese tiempo, para revelarles Su Palabra, pero ustedes estaban asustados por el fuego, y no quisieron subir a la montaña). EL SEÑOR dijo:

(Yo estaba entonces entre Jehová y vosotros, para denunciaros la palabra de Jehová; porque vosotros tuvisteis temor del fuego, y no subisteis al monte;) diciendo:

(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,

(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the LORD’s word; for you were afraid because of the fire, and didn’t go up onto the mountain) saying,

Yo soy EL SEÑOR su DIOS, quien les sacó de Egipto, fuera de la casa de la esclavitud.

Yo soy Jehová tu Dios, que te saqué de tierra de Egipto, de casa de siervos.

I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Ustedes no tendrán otros dioses fuera de Mí.

No tendrás dioses extraños delante de mí.

Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

“You shall have no other gods before me.

No harán para ustedes alguna figura ni nada que se le parezca a lo que hay arriba en el cielo, abajo en la tierra, o de lo que está debajo de la tierra.

No harás para ti escultura, ni imagen alguna de cosa que está arriba en los cielos, ó abajo en la tierra, ó en las aguas debajo de la tierra:

Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

“You shall not make a carved image for yourself—any likeness of what is in heaven above, or what is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

No se arrodillarán o los servirán, porque yo El SEÑOR TU DIOS soy un Dios celoso. Yo castigué la maldad de los antepsados, trayendo castigo a sus niños, hasta la tercera y cuarta generación de aquellos que me odian,

No te inclinarás á ellas ni les servirás: porque yo soy Jehová tu Dios, fuerte, celoso, que visito la iniquidad de los padres sobre los hijos, y sobre los terceros, y sobre los cuartos, á los que me aborrecen,

Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me

y enseñando un pacto de Misericordia a miles, a aquellos que me aman y guardan mis mandamientos.

Y que hago misericordia á millares á los que me aman, y guardan mis mandamientos.

And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

No tomarás EL Nombre del SEÑOR TU DIOS en vano, pues EL SEÑOR no dejará sin culpa al que tome SU Nombre en vano.

No tomarás en vano el nombre de Jehová tu Dios; porque Jehová no dará por inocente al que tomare en vano su nombre.

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

“You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who misuses his name.

Guarden el día de Reposo y mantengalo Santo, como EL SEÑOR les ha ordenado.

Guardarás el día del reposo para santificarlo, como Jehová tu Dios te ha mandado.

Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.

“Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the LORD your God commanded you.

Por seis días trabajarán y harán todo su trabajo;

Seis días trabajarás y harás toda tu obra:

Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:

You shall labor six days, and do all your work;

pero el séptimo día es un Día de Reposo para El SEÑOR SU DIOS. En él no harán ningún trabajo, ni ustedes, ni su hijo, ni su hija, ni su sirviente varón, ni su sirvienta mujer, ni su buey, ni su burro, ni ninguno en su ganado, ni ningún extranjero que este dentro de sus puertas. Esto es para que su sirviente varón y su sirvienta mujer puedan descansar tan bien como ustedes.

Mas el séptimo es reposo á Jehová tu Dios: ninguna obra harás tú, ni tu hijo, ni tu hija, ni tu siervo, ni tu sierva, ni tu buey, ni tu asno, ni ningún animal tuyo, ni tu peregrino que está dentro de tus puertas: porque descanse tu siervo y tu sierva como tú.

But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God, in which you shall not do any work—neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.

Ustedes recordarán que fueron esclavos en la tierra de Egipto, y EL SEÑOR SU DIOS les sacó con su Mano Poderosa y con su Brazo estirado. Por lo tanto, EL SEÑOR SU DIOS a ordenado guardar el Día de Reposo.

Y acuérdate que fuiste siervo en tierra de Egipto, y que Jehová tu Dios te sacó de allá con mano fuerte y brazo extendido: por lo cual Jehová tu Dios te ha mandado que guardes el día del reposo.

And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

You shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm. Therefore the LORD your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.

Honren a su Padre y a su Madre, como El SEÑOR SU DIOS les a ordenado hacer, para que puedan vivir una vida larga en la tierra que El SEÑOR SU DIOS les da, y para que les pueda ir bien.

Honra á tu padre y á tu madre, como Jehová tu Dios te ha mandado, para que sean prolongados tus días, y para que te vaya bien sobre la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da.

Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

“Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God commanded you, that your days may be long and that it may go well with you in the land which the LORD your God gives you.

Tú no matarás.

No matarás.

Thou shalt not kill.

“You shall not murder.

Tú no cometerás adulterio.

No adulterarás.

Neither shalt thou commit adultery.

“You shall not commit adultery.

Tú no robarás.

No hurtarás.

Neither shalt thou steal.

“You shall not steal.

Tú no darás falso testimonio en contra de tu prójimo.

No dirás falso testimonio contra tu prójimo.

Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.

“You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

Tú no codiciarás la mujer de tu prójimo, tú no codiciarás la casa de tu prójimo, o su campo, o su sirviente varón, o su sirvienta mujer, o su buey, o su burro, o cualquier cosa que pertenezca a tu prójimo.

No codiciarás la mujer de tu prójimo, ni desearás la casa de tu prójimo, ni su tierra, ni su siervo, ni su sierva, ni su buey, ni su asno, ni ninguna cosa que sea de tu prójimo.

Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour’s wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. Neither shall you desire your neighbor’s house, his field, or his male servant, or his female servant, his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”

Estas Palabras EL SEÑOR habló en voz alta a toda tu asamblea en la montaña de en medio del fuego, de las nubes, y de las densas tinieblas; ÉL no añadió más palabras. Y ÉL las escribió en dos tablas de piedra y me las dió.

Estas palabras habló Jehová á toda vuestra congregación en el monte, de en medio del fuego, de la nube y de la oscuridad, á gran voz: y no añadió más. Y escribiólas en dos tablas de piedra, las cuales me dió á mí.

These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.

The LORD spoke these words to all your assembly on the mountain out of the middle of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice. He added no more. He wrote them on two stone tablets, and gave them to me.

Y sucedió, que cuando ustedes oyeron la Voz saliendo de en medio de las tinieblas, mientras las montañas se quemaban, cuando se acercaron a mí, todos tus ancianos y los jefes de tus tribus.

Y aconteció, que como vosotros oisteis la voz de en medio de las tinieblas, y visteis al monte que ardía en fuego, llegasteis á mí todos los príncipes de vuestras tribus, y vuestros ancianos;

And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;

When you heard the voice out of the middle of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, you came near to me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;

Tú dijiste: "Mira, El SEÑOR nuestro DIOS nos enseñó su Gloria y su Grandeza, y nosotros hemos escuchado su Voz salir de en medio del fuego; nosotros hemos visto hoy que cuando DIOS habla con su pueblo, ellos pueden vivir.

Y dijisteis: He aquí, Jehová nuestro Dios nos ha mostrado su gloria y su grandeza, y hemos oído su voz de en medio del fuego: hoy hemos visto que Jehová habla al hombre, y éste vive.

And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.

and you said, “Behold, the LORD our God has shown us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the middle of the fire. We have seen today that God does speak with man, and he lives.

Pero ¿Por qué vamos a morir? Porque este gran fuego nos consumirá; si ecuchamos la Voz del SEÑOR nuestro DIOS por más tiempo, nosotros moriremos.

Ahora pues, ¿por qué moriremos? que este gran fuego nos consumirá: si tornáremos á oir la voz de Jehová nuestro Dios, moriremos.

Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.

Now therefore, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. If we hear the LORD our God’s voice any more, then we shall die.

¿Quién además de nosotros está entre toda persona que ha escuchado la Voz del DIOS VIVIENTE hablar de en medio del fuego y ha vivido, así como nosotros lo hemos echo?

Porque, ¿qué es toda carne, para que oiga la voz del Dios viviente que habla de en medio del fuego, como nosotros la oímos, y viva?

For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

For who is there of all flesh who has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the middle of the fire, as we have, and lived?

Así que tú debes ir y escuchar lo que EL SEÑOR nuestro DIOS dice; repítenos a nosotros todo lo que EL SEÑOR nuestro DIOS te diga a tí; lo escucharemos y lo obedeceremos".

Llega tú, y oye todas las cosas que dijere Jehová nuestro Dios; y tú nos dirás todo lo que Jehová nuestro Dios te dijere, y nosotros oiremos y haremos.

Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it.

Go near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say, and tell us all that the LORD our God tells you; and we will hear it, and do it.”

El SEÑOR TU DIOS escuchó tus palabras cuando hablaste conmigo. Él me dijo: "He escuchado las palabras de este pueblo, lo que ellos te dijeron a tÍ. Lo que ellos dijeron que es bueno.

Y oyó Jehová la voz de vuestras palabras, cuando me hablabais; y díjome Jehová: He oído la voz de las palabras de este pueblo, que ellos te han hablado: bien está todo lo que han dicho.

And the LORD heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken.

The LORD heard the voice of your words when you spoke to me; and the LORD said to me, “I have heard the voice of the words of this people which they have spoken to you. They have well said all that they have spoken.

¡Oh, que ellos tuvieran tal corazón que Me Horaran, y siempre obedecieran todos mis mandamientos, para que les fuera bien a ellos y a sus hijos para siempre!

¡Quién diera que tuviesen tal corazón, que me temiesen, y guardasen todos los días todos mis mandamientos, para que á ellos y á sus hijos les fuese bien para siempre!

O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

Ve y diles a ellos; ''Regresen a sus tiendas".

Ve, diles: Volveos á vuestras tiendas.

Go say to them, Get you into your tents again.

“Go tell them, ‘Return to your tents.’

Pero en cuanto a tí, párate aquí al lado mío, y yo te diré todos los mandamientos, los estatutos y los decretos que le vas a enseñar a ellos, para que ellos la cumplan en la tierra que yo les daré para que posean.

Y tú estáte aquí conmigo, y te diré todos los mandamientos, y estatutos, y derechos, que les has de enseñar, á fin que los pongan ahora por obra en la tierra que yo les doy para poseerla.

But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.

But as for you, stand here by me, and I will tell you all the commandments, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess.”

Tú guardarás por tanto, lo que EL SEÑOR TU DIOS te ha ordenado; tú no te desvíes hacia la mano derecha ni a la izquierda.

Mirad, pues, que hagáis como Jehová vuestro Dios os ha mandado: no os apartéis á diestra ni á siniestra;

Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

You shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God has commanded you. You shall not turn away to the right hand or to the left.

Tú caminarás en todo los caminos que EL SEÑOR TU DIOS te ha mandado, para que puedas vivir, para que puedas salir bien y para que tus días se prolonguen en la tierra que tú poseerás.

Andad en todo camino que Jehová vuestro Dios os ha mandado, para que viváis, y os vaya bien, y tengáis largos días en la tierra que habéis de poseer.

Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
