And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites.

Mandé también á Josué entonces, diciendo: Tus ojos vieron todo lo que Jehová vuestro Dios ha hecho á aquellos dos reyes: así hará Jehová á todos los reinos á los cuales pasarás tú.
And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.

En ce temps-là, j’implorai la miséricorde de l’Éternel, en disant:

Seigneur Éternel, tu as commencé à montrer à ton serviteur ta grandeur et ta main puissante; car quel dieu y a-t-il, au ciel et sur la terre, qui puisse imiter tes œuvres et tes hauts faits?
Señor Jehová, tú has comenzado á mostrar á tu siervo tu grandeza, y tu mano fuerte: porque ¿qué dios hay en el cielo ni en la tierra que haga según tus obras, y según tus valentías?
O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?
“Lord GOD, you have begun to show your servant your greatness, and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or in earth that can do works like yours, and mighty acts like yours?
Laisse-moi passer, je te prie, laisse-moi voir ce bon pays de l’autre côté du Jourdain, ces belles montagnes et le Liban.
Pase yo, ruégote, y vea aquella tierra buena, que está á la parte allá del Jordán, aquel buen monte, y el Líbano.

Mais l’Éternel s’irrita contre moi, à cause de vous, et il ne m’écouta point. L’Éternel me dit: C’est assez, ne me parle plus de cette affaire.
Mas Jehová se había enojado contra mí por causa de vosotros, por lo cual no me oyó: y díjome Jehová: Bástate, no me hables más de este negocio.
But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.

Monte au sommet du Pisga, porte tes regards à l’occident, au nord, au midi et à l’orient, et contemple de tes yeux; car tu ne passeras pas ce Jourdain.
