Souviens-toi des jours d'autrefois ; Songez aux années des générations passées ! Interroge ton père et il te l'apprendra, Tes vieillards et ils t'en parleront.

Acuérdate de los tiempos antiguos; considerad los años de generación y generación: pregunta á tu padre, que él te declarará; á tus viejos, y ellos te dirán.
