17Da wird dann mein Zorn gegen sie zu jener Zeit entbrennen, und ich werde sie verlassen und mein Angesicht vor ihnen verbergen; dann wird es der Vertilgung anheimfallen, und viele Leiden und Drangsale werden es treffen. Da wird es dann zu jener Zeit sagen: ›Haben diese Leiden mich nicht deshalb getroffen, weil mein Gott nicht mehr in meiner Mitte ist?‹

17Y mi furor se encenderá contra él en aquel día; y los abandonaré, y esconderé de ellos mi rostro, y serán consumidos; y le hallarán muchos males y angustias, y dirá en aquel día: ¿No me han hallado estos males porque no está mi Dios en medio de mí?

17Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?
