Harto habéis rodeado este monte; volveos al aquilón.
Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.
“You have encircled this mountain long enough. Turn northward.
Donne cet ordre au peuple : Vous allez passer sur le territoire de vos frères, les enfants d'Ésaü, qui habitent en Séir. Ils auront peur de vous, mais soyez très prudents.
Y manda al pueblo, diciendo: Pasando vosotros por el término de vuestros hermanos los hijos de Esaú, que habitan en Seir, ellos tendrán miedo de vosotros; mas vosotros guardaos mucho:
And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:
Command the people, saying, ‘You are to pass through the border of your brothers, the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. Therefore be careful.
Ne les provoquez pas, car je ne vous donnerai rien de leur pays, pas même de quoi poser la plante du pied, parce que j'ai donné le mont Séir en propriété à Ésaü.
No os metáis con ellos; que no os daré de su tierra ni aun la holladura de la planta de un pie; porque yo he dado por heredad á Esaú el monte de Seir.
Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.
Don’t contend with them; for I will not give you any of their land, no, not so much as for the sole of the foot to tread on, because I have given Mount Seir to Esau for a possession.
Vous leur achèterez à prix d'argent la nourriture que vous mangerez, et vous leur achèterez aussi à prix d'argent l'eau que vous boirez. »
Compraréis de ellos por dinero las viandas, y comeréis; y también compraréis de ellos el agua, y beberéis:
Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.

Car le SEIGNEUR ton Dieu t'a béni dans toute l'œuvre de tes mains. Il a veillé sur ta marche à travers ce grand désert. Voilà quarante ans que le SEIGNEUR ton Dieu est avec toi ; tu n'as manqué de rien.
Pues Jehová tu Dios te ha bendecido en toda obra de tus manos: él sabe que andas por este gran desierto: estos cuarenta años Jehová tu Dios fué contigo; y ninguna cosa te ha faltado.
For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.
For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has known your walking through this great wilderness. These forty years, the LORD your God has been with you. You have lacked nothing.
Nous passâmes donc au loin de nos frères, les enfants d'Ésaü, qui habitent en Séir, en quittant le chemin de l'Arabah, d'Élath et d'Etsion-Guéber. Nous fîmes demi-tour et nous passâmes par le chemin du désert de Moab.
Y pasamos de nuestros hermanos los hijos de Esaú, que habitaban en Seir, por el camino de la llanura de Elath y de Esiongeber. Y volvimos, y pasamos camino del desierto de Moab.
And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Ezion-gaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.
So we passed by from our brothers, the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir, from the way of the Arabah from Elath and from Ezion Geber. We turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.
Le SEIGNEUR me dit : « Ne harcèle pas Moab et ne l'attaque pas au combat, car je ne te donnerai rien de son pays en propriété, parce que j'ai donné Ar en propriété aux enfants de Lot. »
Y Jehová me dijo: No molestes á Moab, ni te empeñes con ellos en guerra, que no te daré posesión de su tierra; porque yo he dado á Ar por heredad á los hijos de Lot.
And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.
The LORD said to me, “Don’t bother Moab, neither contend with them in battle; for I will not give you any of his land for a possession, because I have given Ar to the children of Lot for a possession.”
(Les Émims y habitaient autrefois : c'était un peuple grand, nombreux et de haute taille, comme les Anakims.
(Los Emimeos habitaron en ella antes, pueblo grande, y numeroso, y alto como gigantes:
The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;

Ils sont aussi considérés comme des Rephaïms, tout comme les Anakims, mais les Moabites les appellent Émims.

Y en Seir habitaron antes los Horeos, á los cuales echaron los hijos de Esaú; y los destruyeron de delante de sí, y moraron en lugar de ellos; como hizo Israel en la tierra de su posesión que les dió Jehová.)
The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.

« Maintenant, levez-vous et traversez le torrent de Zéred. » Nous traversâmes donc le torrent de Zéred.

Le temps que dura notre marche de Kadès-Barnéa jusqu'à la traversée du torrent de Zéred fut de trente-huit ans, jusqu'à ce que toute la génération des hommes de guerre ait disparu du milieu du camp, comme le SEIGNEUR le leur avait juré.
Y los días que anduvimos de Cades-barnea hasta que pasamos el arroyo de Zered, fueron treinta y ocho años; hasta que se acabó toda la generación de los hombres de guerra de en medio del campo, como Jehová les había jurado.
And the space in which we came from Kadesh-barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.

La main du SEIGNEUR fut d'ailleurs contre eux pour les exterminer du milieu du camp, jusqu'à ce qu'ils aient disparu.
Y también la mano de Jehová fué sobre ellos para destruirlos de en medio del campo, hasta acabarlos.
For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.

« Aujourd'hui, tu vas traverser la frontière de Moab, à Ar.
Tú pasarás hoy el término de Moab, á Ar,
Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:
“You are to pass over Ar, the border of Moab, today.
Lorsque tu t'approcheras de la frontière des enfants d'Ammon, ne les harcèle pas et ne les provoque pas, car je ne te donnerai rien du pays des enfants d'Ammon en propriété, parce que je l'ai donné en propriété aux enfants de Lot. »
Y te acercarás delante de los hijos de Ammón: no los molestes, ni te metas con ellos; porque no te tengo de dar posesión de la tierra de los hijos de Ammón; que á los hijos de Lot la he dado por heredad.
And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.
When you come near the border of the children of Ammon, don’t bother them, nor contend with them; for I will not give you any of the land of the children of Ammon for a possession, because I have given it to the children of Lot for a possession.”
(Ce pays est aussi considéré comme une terre de Rephaïms. Des Rephaïms y habitaient autrefois, mais les Ammonites les appellent Zamzummims :
(Por tierra de gigantes fué también ella tenida: habitaron en ella gigantes en otro tiempo, á los cuales los Ammonitas llamaban Zomzommeos;
(That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;
(That also is considered a land of Rephaim. Rephaim lived there in the past, but the Ammonites call them Zamzummim,

A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:

comme il l'a fait pour les enfants d'Ésaü qui habitent en Séir, lorsqu'il a détruit les Horiens devant eux ; ils les ont dépossédés et se sont établis à leur place jusqu'à ce jour.
Como hizo con los hijos de Esaú, que habitaban en Seir, de delante de los cuales destruyó á los Horeos; y ellos les sucedieron, y habitaron en su lugar hasta hoy.
As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:

Quant aux Avvims, qui habitaient dans des villages jusqu'à Gaza, les Caphtorims, sortis de Caphtor, les ont détruits et se sont établis à leur place.)
Y á los Heveos que habitaban en Haserin hasta Gaza, los Caftoreos que salieron de Caftor los destruyeron, y habitaron en su lugar.)
And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)
Then the Avvim, who lived in villages as far as Gaza: the Caphtorim, who came out of Caphtor, destroyed them and lived in their place.)
« Levez-vous, mettez-vous en route et traversez la vallée de l'Arnon. Vois, j'ai livré entre tes mains Sihon l'Amoréen, roi de Hesbon, et son pays. Commence à en prendre possession et engage le combat contre lui.
Levantaos, partid, y pasad el arroyo de Arnón: he aquí he dado en tu mano á Sehón rey de Hesbón, Amorrheo, y á su tierra: comienza á tomar posesión, y empéñate con él en guerra.
Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
“Rise up, take your journey, and pass over the valley of the Arnon. Behold, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
Aujourd'hui, je commencerai à répandre la frayeur et la peur de toi sur les peuples qui sont sous le ciel tout entier ; en entendant parler de toi, ils trembleront et seront saisis d'angoisse à cause de toi. »
Hoy comenzaré á poner tu miedo y tu espanto sobre los pueblos debajo de todo el cielo; los cuales oirán tu fama, y temblarán, y angustiarse han delante de ti.
This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.
Today I will begin to put the dread of you and the fear of you on the peoples who are under the whole sky, who shall hear the report of you, and shall tremble and be in anguish because of you.”
J'envoyai des messagers depuis le désert de Kédémoth vers Sihon, roi de Hesbon, avec des paroles de paix, pour lui dire :
Y envié mensajeros desde el desierto de Cademoth á Sehón rey de Hesbón, con palabras de paz, diciendo:
And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

« Laisse-moi traverser ton pays. Je marcherai sur la route, je ne m'en écarterai ni à droite ni à gauche.
Pasaré por tu tierra por el camino: por el camino iré, sin apartarme á diestra ni á siniestra:
Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left.
“Let me pass through your land. I will go along by the highway. I will turn neither to the right hand nor to the left.
Tu me vendras à prix d'argent la nourriture que je mangerai, et tu me donneras à prix d'argent l'eau que je boirai. Laisse-moi simplement passer à pied,
La comida me venderás por dinero, y comeré: el agua también me darás por dinero, y beberé: solamente pasaré á pie;
Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;

Como lo hicieron conmigo los hijos de Esaú que habitaban en Seir, y los Moabitas que habitaban en Ar; hasta que pase el Jordán á la tierra que nos da Jehová nuestro Dios.
(As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.

Mais Sihon, roi de Hesbon, refusa de nous laisser passer chez lui, car le SEIGNEUR ton Dieu avait endurci son esprit et rendu son cœur obstiné, afin de le livrer entre tes mains, comme on le voit aujourd'hui.
Mas Sehón rey de Hesbón no quiso que pasásemos por el territorio suyo; porque Jehová tu Dios había endurecido su espíritu, y obstinado su corazón para entregarlo en tu mano, como hoy.
But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.

Le SEIGNEUR me dit : « Vois, j'ai commencé à te livrer Sihon et son pays. Commence à en prendre possession, afin d'hériter de son pays. »
Y díjome Jehová: He aquí yo he comenzado á dar delante de ti á Sehón y á su tierra; comienza á tomar posesión, para que heredes su tierra.
And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.
The LORD said to me, “Behold, I have begun to deliver up Sihon and his land before you. Begin to possess, that you may inherit his land.”
Alors Sihon sortit à notre rencontre, lui et tout son peuple, pour livrer bataille à Jahats.
Y saliónos Sehón al encuentro, él y todo su pueblo, para pelear en Jaas.

Nous prîmes toutes ses villes à cette époque, et nous vouâmes à l'interdit toute ville habitée, avec les femmes et les petits enfants. Nous ne laissâmes aucun survivant.

Nous ne prîmes comme butin pour nous que le bétail, avec les dépouilles des villes que nous avions prises.
Solamente tomamos para nosotros las bestias, y los despojos de las ciudades que habíamos tomado.
Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.

Depuis Aroër, qui est au bord de la vallée de l'Arnon, et la ville qui est dans la vallée, jusqu'en Galaad, il n'y eut pas une ville qui fût trop forte pour nous. Le SEIGNEUR notre Dieu nous livra tout.
Desde Aroer, que está junto á la ribera del arroyo de Arnón, y la ciudad que está en el arroyo, hasta Galaad, no hubo ciudad que escapase de nosotros: todas las entregó Jehová nuestro Dios en nuestro poder.
From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:
From Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the valley, even to Gilead, there was not a city too high for us. The LORD our God delivered up all before us.
Seulement, tu ne t'es pas approché du pays des enfants d'Ammon, de toutes les rives du torrent de Jabbok, des villes de la région montagneuse, ni d'aucun des lieux que le SEIGNEUR notre Dieu nous avait interdits.
Solamente á la tierra de los hijos de Ammón no llegaste, ni á todo lo que está á la orilla del arroyo de Jaboc ni á las ciudades del monte, ni á lugar alguno que Jehová nuestro Dios había prohibido.
Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbad us.
Only to the land of the children of Ammon you didn’t come near: all the banks of the river Jabbok, and the cities of the hill country, and wherever the LORD our God forbade us.
