Deuteronomio 26

1"Quand tu seras arrivé dans le pays que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne en héritage, quand tu en auras pris possession et y seras établi,
2tu prendras des prémices de tous les fruits de la terre, récoltés par toi dans le pays que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'aura donné, et tu les mettras dans une corbeille; et tu te rendras à l'endroit que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, aura choisi pour y faire régner son nom.
3Tu te présenteras au pontife qui sera alors en fonction, et lui diras: "Je viens reconnaître en ce jour, devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu, que je suis installé dans le pays que l'Éternel avait juré à nos pères de nous donner."
4Alors le pontife recevra la corbeille de ta main, et la déposera devant l'autel de l'Éternel, ton Dieu.
5Et tu diras à haute voix devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu: "Enfant d'Aram, mon père était errant, il descendit en Egypte, y vécut étranger, peu nombreux d'abord, puis y devint une nation considérable, puissante et nombreuse.
6Alors les Egyptiens nous traitèrent iniquement, nous opprimèrent, nous imposèrent un dur servage.
7Nous implorâmes l'Éternel, Dieu de nos pères; et l'Éternel entendit notre plainte, il considéra notre misère, notre labeur et notre détresse,
8et il nous fit sortir de l'Egypte avec une main puissante et un bras étendu, en imprimant la terreur, en opérant signes et prodiges;
9et il nous introduisit dans cette contrée, et il nous fit présent de cette terre, une terre où ruissellent le lait et le miel.
10Or, maintenant j'apporte en hommage les premiers fruits de cette terre dont tu m'as fait présent, Seigneur!" Tu les déposeras alors devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu, et tu te prosterneras devant lui.
11Et tu te réjouiras pour tous les biens que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, aura donnés à toi et à ta famille, et avec toi se réjouiront le Lévite et l'étranger qui est dans ton pays.
12Quand tu auras achevé de prélever les diverses dîmes de ton revenu, dans la troisième année, année de la dîme; quand tu auras donné leur dû au Lévite, à l'étranger, à l'orphelin et à la veuve, afin qu'ils aient à manger dans tes villes et se rassasient,
13tu feras cette déclaration devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu: "J'ai fait disparaître de chez moi les choses saintes, et je les ai attribuées au Lévite, à l'étranger, à l'orphelin et à la veuve, exactement selon l'ordre que tu m'as donné; je n'ai transgressé ni omis aucun de tes préceptes.
14De ces choses saintes je n'ai rien consommé pendant mon deuil, rien prélevé en état d'impureté, rien employé en l'honneur d'un mort: docile à la voix de l'Éternel, mon Dieu, je me suis entièrement conformé à tes prescriptions.
15Jette un regard du haut des cieux, ta sainte demeure, et bénis ton peuple Israël et la terre que tu nous as donnée, comme tu l'as juré à nos pères, ce pays ruisselant de lait et de miel!"
16En ce jour, l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te recommande d'exécuter ces diverses lois et ces statuts; tu t'appliqueras donc à les observer de tout ton cœur et de toute ton âme.
17Tu as glorifié aujourd'hui l'Éternel, en promettant de l'adopter pour ton Dieu, de marcher dans ses voies, d'observer ses lois, ses préceptes, ses statuts, et d'écouter sa parole;
18et l'Éternel t'a glorifié à son tour en te conviant à être son peuple privilégié, comme il te l'a annoncé, et à garder tous ses commandements.
19Il veut que tu deviennes la première de toutes les nations qu'il a faites, en gloire, en renommée et en dignité; que tu sois un peuple consacré à l'Éternel, ton Dieu, comme il l'a déclaré."

1Y SERÁ que, cuando hubieres entrado en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad, y la poseyeres, y habitares en ella;
2Entonces tomarás de las primicias de todos los frutos de la tierra, que sacares de tu tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da, y lo pondrás en un canastillo, é irás al lugar que Jehová tu Dios escogiere para hacer habitar allí su nombre.
3Y llegarás al sacerdote que fuere en aquellos días, y le dirás: Reconozco hoy á Jehová tu Dios que he entrado en la tierra que juró Jehová á nuestros padres que nos había de dar.
4Y el sacerdote tomará el canastillo de tu mano, y pondrálo delante del altar de Jehová tu Dios.
5Entonces hablarás y dirás delante de Jehová tu Dios: Un Siro á punto de perecer fué mi padre, el cual descendió á Egipto y peregrinó allá con pocos hombres, y allí creció en gente grande, fuerte y numerosa:
6Y los Egipcios nos maltrataron, y nos afligieron, y pusieron sobre nosotros dura servidumbre.
7Y clamamos á Jehová Dios de nuestros padres; y oyó Jehová nuestra voz, y vió nuestra aflicción, y nuestro trabajo, y nuestra opresión:
8Y sacónos Jehová de Egipto con mano fuerte, y con brazo extendido, y con grande espanto, y con señales y con milagros:
9Y trájonos á este lugar, y diónos esta tierra, tierra que fluye leche y miel.
10Y ahora, he aquí, he traído las primicias del fruto de la tierra que me diste, oh Jehová. Y lo dejarás delante de Jehová tu Dios, é inclinarte has delante de Jehová tu Dios.
11Y te alegrarás con todo el bien que Jehová tu Dios te hubiere dado á ti y á tu casa, tú y el Levita, y el extranjero que está en medio de ti.
12Cuando hubieres acabado de diezmar todo el diezmo de tus frutos en el año tercero, el año del diezmo, darás también al Levita, al extranjero, al huérfano y á la viuda; y comerán en tus villas, y se saciarán.
13Y dirás delante de Jehová tu Dios: Yo he sacado lo consagrado de mi casa, y también lo he dado al Levita, y al extranjero, y al huérfano, y á la viuda, conforme á todos tus mandamientos que me ordenaste: no he traspasado tus mandamientos, ni me he olvidado de ellos:
14No he comido de ello en mi luto, ni he sacado de ello en inmundicia, ni de ello he dado para mortuorio: he obedecido á la voz de Jehová mi Dios, he hecho conforme á todo lo que me has mandado.
15Mira desde la morada de tu santidad, desde el cielo, y bendice á tu pueblo Israel, y á la tierra que nos has dado, como juraste á nuestros padres, tierra que fluye leche y miel.
16Jehová tu Dios te manda hoy que cumplas estos estatutos y derechos; cuida, pues, de ponerlos por obra con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma.
17A Jehová has ensalzado hoy para que te sea por Dios, y para andar en sus caminos, y para guardar sus estatutos y sus mandamientos y sus derechos, y para oir su voz:
18Y Jehová te ha ensalzado hoy para que le seas su peculiar pueblo, como él te lo ha dicho, y para que guardes todos sus mandamientos;
19Y para ponerte alto sobre todas las gentes que hizo, para loor, y fama, y gloria; y para que seas pueblo santo á Jehová tu Dios, como él ha dicho.

1And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;
2That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there.
3And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.
4And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.
5And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:
6And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:
7And when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:
8And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:
9And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey.
10And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:
11And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.
12When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;
13Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:
14I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.
15Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
16This day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
17Thou hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:
18And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;
19And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.
World English Bible
1It shall be, when you have come in to the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance, possess it, and dwell in it,
2that you shall take some of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which you shall bring in from your land that the LORD your God gives you. You shall put it in a basket, and shall go to the place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there.
3You shall come to the priest who shall be in those days, and tell him, “I profess today to the LORD your God, that I have come to the land which the LORD swore to our fathers to give us.”
4The priest shall take the basket out of your hand, and set it down before the LORD your God’s altar.
5You shall answer and say before the LORD your God, “My father was a Syrian ready to perish. He went down into Egypt, and lived there, few in number. There he became a great, mighty, and populous nation.
6The Egyptians mistreated us, afflicted us, and imposed hard labor on us.
7Then we cried to the LORD, the God of our fathers. The LORD heard our voice, and saw our affliction, our toil, and our oppression.
8The LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, with great terror, with signs, and with wonders;
9and he has brought us into this place, and has given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.
10Now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground, which you, the LORD, have given me.” You shall set it down before the LORD your God, and worship before the LORD your God.
11You shall rejoice in all the good which the LORD your God has given to you, and to your house, you, and the Levite, and the foreigner who is among you.
12When you have finished tithing all the tithe of your increase in the third year, which is the year of tithing, then you shall give it to the Levite, to the foreigner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat within your gates and be filled.
13You shall say before the LORD your God, “I have put away the holy things out of my house, and also have given them to the Levite, to the foreigner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all your commandment which you have commanded me. I have not transgressed any of your commandments, neither have I forgotten them.
14I have not eaten of it in my mourning, neither have I removed any of it while I was unclean, nor given of it for the dead. I have listened to the LORD my God’s voice. I have done according to all that you have commanded me.
15Look down from your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless your people Israel, and the ground which you have given us, as you swore to our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.”
16Today the LORD your God commands you to do these statutes and ordinances. You shall therefore keep and do them with all your heart and with all your soul.
17You have declared today that the LORD is your God, and that you would walk in his ways, keep his statutes, his commandments, and his ordinances, and listen to his voice.
18The LORD has declared today that you are a people for his own possession, as he has promised you, and that you should keep all his commandments.
19He will make you high above all nations that he has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to the LORD your God, as he has spoken.
