Deuteronomio 25

1Wenn Männer miteinander einen Streit haben und sie treten vor Gericht und man spricht ihnen Recht und gibt demjenigen Recht, der im Rechte ist, und demjenigen Unrecht, der im Unrecht ist,
2so soll der Richter, falls der, der im Unrecht ist, Streiche verdient, ihn hinstrecken und ihm in seiner Gegenwart so viel Streiche geben lassen, als er für seine Schuld verdient.
3Vierzig Streiche darf er ihm geben lassen, nicht mehr, dass dein Bruder in deinen Augen nicht entehrt werde, wenn er ihm noch viel mehr Streiche geben liesse.
4Du sollst dem Ochsen, wenn er drischt, das Maul nicht verbinden.
5WENN Brüder beieinander wohnen und einer von ihnen stirbt, ohne dass er einen Sohn hat, so soll das Weib des Verstorbenen nicht auswärts heiraten, nicht einen Fremden; ihr Schwager soll zu ihr kommen, sie zum Weibe nehmen und die Schwagerehe mit ihr eingehen. (a) 1Mo 38:8
6Und der erste Sohn, den sie gebiert, soll als Sohn seines verstorbenen Bruders gelten, damit dessen Name in Israel nicht erlösche.
7Hat aber der Mann keine Lust, seine Schwägerin zu heiraten, so soll seine Schwägerin ans Tor zu den Ältesten gehen und sagen: "Mein Schwager weigert sich, den Namen seines Bruders in Israel zu erhalten; er will die Schwagerehe nicht mit mir eingehen."
8Dann sollen die Ältesten der Stadt ihn rufen und ihm zureden. Wenn er aber dabei bleibt und erklärt: "Ich habe keine Lust, sie zu heiraten",
9so soll seine Schwägerin vor den Ältesten an ihn herantreten, ihm den Schuh vom Fusse ziehen und ihm ins Angesicht speien und soll anheben und sprechen: "So ergehe es jedem, der seines Bruders Haus nicht bauen will."
10Und sein Haus soll in Israel "Haus des Barfüssers" heissen.
11WENN zwei Männer miteinander raufen und das Weib des einen läuft herzu, um ihren Mann aus der Hand dessen zu befreien, der ihn schlägt, und sie streckt ihre Hand aus und ergreift diesen bei der Scham,
12so sollst du ihr die Hand abhauen; du sollst kein Erbarmen kennen.
13Du sollst in deinem Beutel nicht zweierlei Gewichtsteine haben, einen grössern und einen kleinern. (a) 3Mo 19:35; Mi 6:10 11
14Du sollst in deinem Hause nicht zweierlei Hohlmasse haben, ein grösseres und ein kleineres.
15Volles und richtiges Gewicht sollst du haben, volles und richtiges Mass sollst du haben, auf dass du lange lebest in dem Lande, das der Herr, dein Gott, dir geben will.
16Denn ein Greuel ist dem Herrn, deinem Gott, ein jeder, der solches tut, ein jeder, der Unrecht tut.
17Denke daran, was dir die Amalekiter angetan haben auf dem Wege, als ihr aus Ägypten auszogt, (a) 2Mo 17:8
18wie sie dir entgegentraten auf dem Wege und wie sie, als du müde und matt warst, alle, die aus Schwäche hinter dir zurückblieben, von dir abschnitten, ohne Gott zu fürchten.
19Wenn nun der Herr, dein Gott, dir Ruhe schafft vor all deinen Feinden ringsumher, in dem Lande, das dir der Herr, dein Gott, zu eigen geben will, so sollst du auch den Namen der Amalekiter unter dem Himmel austilgen. Das vergiss nicht! (a) 1Sa 15:3

1CUANDO hubiere pleito entre algunos, y vinieren á juicio, y los juzgaren, y absolvieren al justo y condenaren al inicuo,
2Será que, si el delincuente mereciere ser azotado, entonces el juez lo hará echar en tierra, y harále azotar delante de sí, según su delito, por cuenta.
3Harále dar cuarenta azotes, no más: no sea que, si lo hiriere con muchos azotes á más de éstos, se envilezca tu hermano delante de tus ojos.
4No pondrás bozal al buey cuando trillare.
5Cuando hermanos estuvieren juntos, y muriere alguno de ellos, y no tuviere hijo, la mujer del muerto no se casará fuera con hombre extraño: su cuñado entrará á ella, y la tomará por su mujer, y hará con ella parentesco.
6Y será que el primogénito que pariere ella, se levantará en nombre de su hermano el muerto, porque el nombre de éste no sea raído de Israel.
7Y si el hombre no quisiere tomar á su cuñada, irá entonces la cuñada suya á la puerta á los ancianos, y dirá: Mi cuñado no quiere suscitar nombre en Israel á su hermano; no quiere emparentar conmigo.
8Entonces los ancianos de aquella ciudad lo harán venir, y hablarán con él: y si él se levantare, y dijere, No quiero tomarla,
9Llegaráse entonces su cuñada á él delante de los ancianos, y le descalzará el zapato de su pie, y escupirále en el rostro, y hablará y dirá: Así será hecho al varón que no edificare la casa de su hermano.
10Y su nombre será llamado en Israel: La casa del descalzado.
11Cuando algunos riñeren juntos el uno con el otro, y llegare la mujer del uno para librar á su marido de mano del que le hiriere, y metiere su mano y le trabare de sus vergüenzas;
12La cortarás entonces la mano, no la perdonará tu ojo.
13No tendrás en tu bolsa pesa grande y pesa chica.
14No tendrás en tu casa epha grande y epha pequeño.
15Pesas cumplidas y justas tendrás; epha cabal y justo tendrás: para que tus días sean prolongados sobre la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da.
16Porque abominación es á Jehová tu Dios cualquiera que hace esto, cualquiera que hace agravio.
17Acuérdate de lo que te hizo Amalec en el camino, cuando salisteis de Egipto:
18Que te salió al camino, y te desbarató la retaguardia de todos los flacos que iban detrás de ti, cuando tú estabas cansado y trabajado; y no temió á Dios.
19Será pues, cuando Jehová tu Dios te hubiere dado reposo de tus enemigos alrededor, en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad para que la poseas, que raerás la memoria de Amalec de debajo del cielo: no te olvides.

1If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.
2And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number.
3Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee.
4Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.
5If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband’s brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband’s brother unto her.
6And it shall be, that the firstborn which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel.
7And if the man like not to take his brother’s wife, then let his brother’s wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband’s brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband’s brother.
8Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her;
9Then shall his brother’s wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother’s house.
10And his name shall be called in Israel, The house of him that hath his shoe loosed.
11When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets:
12Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her.
13Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.
14Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small.
15But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
16For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.
17Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;
18How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.
19Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.
World English Bible
1If there is a controversy between men, and they come to judgment and the judges judge them, then they shall justify the righteous and condemn the wicked.
2It shall be, if the wicked man is worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down and to be beaten before his face, according to his wickedness, by number.
3He may sentence him to no more than forty stripes. He shall not give more, lest if he should give more and beat him more than that many stripes, then your brother will be degraded in your sight.
4You shall not muzzle the ox when he treads out the grain.
5If brothers dwell together, and one of them dies and has no son, the wife of the dead shall not be married outside to a stranger. Her husband’s brother shall go in to her, and take her as his wife, and perform the duty of a husband’s brother to her.
6It shall be that the firstborn whom she bears shall succeed in the name of his brother who is dead, that his name not be blotted out of Israel.
7If the man doesn’t want to take his brother’s wife, then his brother’s wife shall go up to the gate to the elders, and say, “My husband’s brother refuses to raise up to his brother a name in Israel. He will not perform the duty of a husband’s brother to me.”
8Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak to him. If he stands and says, “I don’t want to take her,”
9then his brother’s wife shall come to him in the presence of the elders, and loose his sandal from off his foot, and spit in his face. She shall answer and say, “So shall it be done to the man who does not build up his brother’s house.”
10His name shall be called in Israel, “The house of him who had his sandal removed.”
11When men strive against each other, and the wife of one draws near to deliver her husband out of the hand of him who strikes him, and puts out her hand, and grabs him by his private parts,
12then you shall cut off her hand. Your eye shall have no pity.
13You shall not have in your bag diverse weights, one heavy and one light.
14You shall not have in your house diverse measures, one large and one small.
15You shall have a perfect and just weight. You shall have a perfect and just measure, that your days may be long in the land which the LORD your God gives you.
16For all who do such things, all who do unrighteously, are an abomination to the LORD your God.
17Remember what Amalek did to you by the way as you came out of Egypt,
18how he met you by the way, and struck the rearmost of you, all who were feeble behind you, when you were faint and weary; and he didn’t fear God.
19Therefore it shall be, when the LORD your God has given you rest from all your enemies all around, in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it, that you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky. You shall not forget.
