1Wenn ein Mann ein Weib nimmt und sich ihr vermählt, und es geschieht, daß sie nicht Gnade findet in seinen Augen, weil er eine Blöße an ihr gefunden hat, daß er einen Scheidebrief schreibt und in ihre Hand gibt und sie aus seinem Haus entläßt;

1When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

1When a man takes a wife and marries her, then it shall be, if she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a certificate of divorce, put it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
