1Si un homme prend une femme et l’épouse, et qu’il arrive qu’elle ne trouve pas grâce à ses yeux, parce qu’il aura trouvé en elle quelque chose de malséant, il écrira pour elle une lettre de divorce, et la lui mettra dans la main, et la renverra hors de sa maison.

1When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

1When a man takes a wife and marries her, then it shall be, if she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a certificate of divorce, put it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
