WENN du wider deine Feinde in den Krieg ziehst, und du siehst Rosse und Wagen und ein Volk, das grösser ist als du, so fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen; denn der Herr, dein Gott, der dich aus dem Lande Ägypten heraufgeführt hat, ist mit dir.
CUANDO salieres á la guerra contra tus enemigos, y vieres caballos y carros, un pueblo más grande que tú, no tengas temor de ellos, que Jehová tu Dios es contigo, el cual te sacó de tierra de Egipto.
When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses, chariots, and a people more numerous than you, you shall not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, is with you.
Wenn ihr nun zum Streite ausrückt, so soll der Priester herzutreten und zum Volke reden
Y será que, cuando os acercareis para combatir, llegaráse el sacerdote, y hablará al pueblo,
And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,
It shall be, when you draw near to the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people,
und zu ihnen sprechen: "Höre, Israel! Ihr rückt heute aus zum Streit wider eure Feinde; euer Herz verzage nicht, fürchtet euch nicht und erschrecket nicht und lasset euch nicht vor ihnen grauen!
Y les dirá: Oye, Israel, vosotros os juntáis hoy en batalla contra vuestros enemigos: no se ablande vuestro corazón, no temáis, no os azoréis, ni tampoco os desalentéis delante de ellos;
And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;
and shall tell them, “Hear, Israel, you draw near today to battle against your enemies. Don’t let your heart faint! Don’t be afraid, nor tremble, neither be scared of them;
Denn der Herr, euer Gott, zieht ja mit euch, dass er für euch mit euren Feinden streite, um euch den Sieg zu geben."
Que Jehová vuestro Dios anda con vosotros, para pelear por vosotros contra vuestros enemigos, para salvaros.
For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

Dann sollen die Amtleute zu dem Volke reden und sprechen: "Wer ist da, der ein neues Haus gebaut und es noch nicht eingeweiht hat? Er gehe hin und kehre heim in sein Haus, dass er nicht im Kampfe falle und ein andrer es einweihe.
Y los oficiales hablarán al pueblo, diciendo: ¿Quién ha edificado casa nueva, y no la ha estrenado? Vaya, y vuélvase á su casa, porque quizá no muera en la batalla, y otro alguno la estrene.
And the officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man is there that hath built a new house, and hath not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.

Und wer ist da, der einen Weinberg gepflanzt und davon noch nicht genossen hat? Er gehe hin und kehre heim in sein Haus, dass er nicht im Kampfe falle und ein andrer den Genuss davon habe.
¿Y quién ha plantado viña, y no ha hecho común uso de ella? Vaya, y vuélvase á su casa, porque quizá no muera en la batalla, y otro alguno la goce.
And what man is he that hath planted a vineyard, and hath not yet eaten of it? let him also go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man eat of it.

Und weiter sollen die Amtleute zu dem Volke sprechen: "Wer ist da, der sich fürchtet und verzagten Herzens ist? Er gehe hin und kehre heim in sein Haus, dass er nicht auch seine Brüder verzagt mache, wie er selbst ist." (a) Ri 7:3
Y tornarán los oficiales á hablar al pueblo, y dirán: ¿Quién es hombre medroso y tierno de corazón? Vaya, y vuélvase á su casa, y no apoque el corazón de sus hermanos, como su corazón.
And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man is there that is fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren’s heart faint as well as his heart.

Wenn dann die Amtleute dies alles zu dem Volke geredet haben, so soll man Heerführer an die Spitze des Volkes stellen.
Y será que, cuando los oficiales acabaren de hablar al pueblo, entonces los capitanes de los ejércitos mandarán delante del pueblo.
And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people, that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people.

Wenn du vor eine Stadt ziehst, um wider sie zu streiten, so sollst du ihr den Frieden anbieten.
Cuando te acercares á una ciudad para combatirla, le intimarás la paz.
When thou comest nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it.
When you draw near to a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace to it.
Geht sie auf den Frieden ein und tut sie dir auf, so soll alles Volk, das sich darin befindet, dir fronpflichtig sein und soll dir dienen.
Y será que, si te respondiere, Paz, y te abriere, todo el pueblo que en ella fuere hallado te serán tributarios, y te servirán.
And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee.
It shall be, if it gives you answer of peace and opens to you, then it shall be that all the people who are found therein shall become forced laborers to you, and shall serve you.
Will sie aber nicht friedlich sich mit dir vergleichen, sondern mit dir Krieg führen, so belagere sie.
Mas si no hiciere paz contigo, y emprendiere contigo guerra, y la cercares,
And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
If it will make no peace with you, but will make war against you, then you shall besiege it.
Und wenn der Herr, dein Gott, sie dir preisgibt, so sollst du alles, was darin männlich ist, mit der Schärfe des Schwertes schlagen.
Luego que Jehová tu Dios la entregare en tu mano, herirás á todo varón suyo á filo de espada.
And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
When the LORD your God delivers it into your hand, you shall strike every male of it with the edge of the sword;
Die Frauen und Kinder aber, das Vieh und alles, was sich in der Stadt an Beute findet, magst du als Raub für dich behalten und die Beute deiner Feinde, die dir der Herr, dein Gott, gegeben hat, geniessen.
Solamente las mujeres y los niños, y los animales, y todo lo que hubiere en la ciudad, todos sus despojos, tomarás para ti: y comerás del despojo de tus enemigos, los cuales Jehová tu Dios te entregó.
But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
but the women, the little ones, the livestock, and all that is in the city, even all its plunder, you shall take for plunder for yourself. You may use the plunder of your enemies, which the LORD your God has given you.
So sollst du es mit allen Städten halten, die weit von dir entfernt sind und nicht zu den Städten dieser Völker hier gehören.

Empero de las ciudades de estos pueblos que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad, ninguna persona dejarás con vida;
But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:

sondern den Bann sollst du an ihnen vollstrecken, an den Hethitern, Amoritern, Kanaanitern, Pheresitern, Hewitern und Jebusitern, wie dir der Herr, dein Gott, geboten hat,
Antes del todo los destruirás: al Hetheo, y al Amorrheo, y al Cananeo, y al Pherezeo, y al Heveo, y al Jebuseo; como Jehová tu Dios te ha mandado:

auf dass sie euch nicht lehren, all ihre Greuel nachzuahmen, die sie zu Ehren ihrer Götter verübt haben, und ihr euch an dem Herrn, eurem Gott, nicht versündiget.
Porque no os enseñen á hacer según todas sus abominaciones, que ellos hacen á sus dioses, y pequéis contra Jehová vuestro Dios.
That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the LORD your God.

Wenn du lange Zeit vor einer Stadt liegst, indem du wider sie Krieg führst, um sie einzunehmen, so sollst du ihre Bäume nicht verderben, indem du die Axt wider sie schwingst; du magst davon essen, sie selber aber sollst du nicht umhauen. Sind denn die Bäume des Feldes Menschen, dass du sie belagern müsstest?
Cuando pusieres cerco á alguna ciudad, peleando contra ella muchos días para tomarla, no destruyas su arboleda metiendo en ella hacha, porque de ella comerás; y no la talarás, que no es hombre el árbol del campo para venir contra ti en el cerco.
When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an axe against them: for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man’s life) to employ them in the siege:
When you shall besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, you shall not destroy its trees by wielding an ax against them; for you may eat of them. You shall not cut them down, for is the tree of the field man, that it should be besieged by you?
Nur Bäume, von denen du weisst, dass man nicht davon essen kann, die magst du verderben und umhauen und Bollwerke daraus bauen wider die Stadt, die mit dir Krieg führt, bis sie fällt.
Mas el árbol que supieres que no es árbol para comer, lo destruirás y lo talarás, y construye baluarte contra la ciudad que pelea contigo, hasta sojuzgarla.
Only the trees which thou knowest that they be not trees for meat, thou shalt destroy and cut them down; and thou shalt build bulwarks against the city that maketh war with thee, until it be subdued.
Only the trees that you know are not trees for food, you shall destroy and cut them down. You shall build bulwarks against the city that makes war with you, until it falls.
