Wohin ziehen wir denn sonst? Unsere eigenen Volksgenossen haben uns allen Mut genommen, indem sie sprachen: Leute sind es, die größer und von höherem Wuchse sind als wir, Städte, die groß und himmelhoch befestigt sind, und sogar Enakiter haben wir dort gesehen!
¿A dónde subimos? Nuestros hermanos han hecho desfallecer nuestro corazón, diciendo: Este pueblo es mayor y más alto que nosotros, las ciudades grandes y muradas hasta el cielo; y también vimos allí hijos de gigantes.
Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.
Where are we going up? Our brothers have made our heart melt, saying, ‘The people are greater and taller than we. The cities are great and fortified up to the sky. Moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there!’”
