Como poderemos avançar? Os nossos irmãos, que foram espionar a terra, trouxeram desânimo ao nosso coração quando disseram: O povo de lá é mais forte e mais alto do que nós. As cidades são fortificadas com muros que vão até o céu, e também vimos ali gigantes, descendentes dos enaquins!’
¿A dónde subimos? Nuestros hermanos han hecho desfallecer nuestro corazón, diciendo: Este pueblo es mayor y más alto que nosotros, las ciudades grandes y muradas hasta el cielo; y también vimos allí hijos de gigantes.
Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.
Where are we going up? Our brothers have made our heart melt, saying, ‘The people are greater and taller than we. The cities are great and fortified up to the sky. Moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there!’”
