16Parce que, en Horeb, tu en as fait la demande au Seigneur ton Dieu, le jour de l'Eglise ; tu as dit : Que nous ne continuions plus d'entendre la voix du Seigneur notre Dieu, que nous ne voyions plus ce grand feu, de peur que nous ne mourions.

16Conforme á todo lo que pediste á Jehová tu Dios en Horeb el día de la asamblea, diciendo: No vuelva yo á oir la voz de Jehová mi Dios, ni vea yo más este gran fuego, porque no muera.

16According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

16This is according to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, “Let me not hear again the LORD my God’s voice, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I not die.”
