Deuteronomio 17

und es dir hinterbracht wird, so sollst du verhören und gründlich untersuchen, und ist es dann wahr, dass die Sache wirklich also steht, dass solcher Greuel in Israel verübt worden ist,

Y te fuere dado aviso, y, después que oyeres y hubieres indagado bien, la cosa parece de verdad cierta, que tal abominación ha sido hecha en Israel;

And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:

and you are told, and you have heard of it, then you shall inquire diligently. Behold, if it is true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is done in Israel,
